Build:Me/A Assassin's Promise Spiker

This build makes use of Assassin's Promise to quickly spike with Cry of Pain and Ebon Vanguard Assassin Support.

Equipment

Armor

• Survivor/Radiant Insignia on all pieces.
• Best Rune of Vigor you can afford.
• 2x Runes of Vitae

Weapons

• Defensive set.
• High energy set when casting Auspicious Incantation.
  • Note: Assassin's Promise makes HRC set redundant.

Usage

• Use Assassin's Promise wisely, cast it right away if expecting your target to go down fast, wait if you expect possible hex removals/hp buffs.
• Use Mind Wrack to prime Cry of Pain and cover Assassin's Promise if necessary.
• Use Arcane Echo wisely, generally use it to make two copies of Ebon Vanguard Assassin Support for strong single target spike, physical damage and meat wall following with Cry of Pain. However you can create two copies of Cry of Pain when it is possible to take greater advantage from it's AoE damage burst (single target spike will be significantely lower in this case).
• Use "Finish Him!" quickly followed by Epidemic to finish off targets below 50% health and spread deadly Deep Wound condition around.
• Use Auspicious Incantation followed by Arcane Echo or Ebon Vanguard Assassin Support while swapping to high energy set to manage energy if necessary.

Counters

• Heavy hex removal can be somewhat problemmatic.
• Poorly played Assassin's Promise and Arcane Echo.

Notes

• Another character using Mark of Pain would be extremely effective in conjunction with Ebon Vanguard Assassin Support.
