Red thumbs down This build is not favored by the PvXwiki community.

Through the PvX vetting system, it has reached an overall rating below 3.75, or it was abandoned by the community, and thus does not qualify for being stored in the PvXwiki build data base. It is subject to deletion after a grace period of 2 weeks, starting PvE team.

This setup of teams utilizes the tanking ability and attack strength of spirits to kill almost all foes in the Underworld quickly without putting much of any risk to the Ritualist team members making for a continuously moving farm while the lone perma handles many of the early Underworld areas. A Normal Mode run takes around a 1/2 hour to fifty minutes once experienced. A Hard Mode run takes forty minutes to an hour and fifteen once experienced without the use of consumables.

Mountains and Beyond 1

<pvxbig> [build prof=Rt/Mo SpawningPower=8+3 Communing=10+3 Channeling=12+1+3 ProtectionPrayers=2][Boon of Creation][Bloodsong][Vampirism][Shadowsong][Signet of Spirits][Painful Bond][Armor of Unfeeling][Rebirth][/build] </pvxbig>

Equipment

This will be universal across the ritualist team members!!!

  • Full Shaman's Insignias
  • Staff of Enchanting
  • +60 sword/axe/spear + shield set for rebirthing/emergencies.
  • Flatbow/Longbow for pulling
  • Consider bringing another armor set that will give you more health should you find you need it.

Usage

  • Alongside the Chamber/Mtn Rits, you will use your spirits to aid in killing the beasties on the way to, up, and leaving the Mountains area. You may or may not end up supporting Bone Pits, but you will likely help in the Spawning Pools unless you are helping the Perma from beginning to end, but you will probably end up at the Pools anyway.
  • DO NOT FORGET: you are not supposed to just place your spirits whenever you feel like. Synchronize with your teammate(s) on who REAPPLIES what spirit when. While in the Mountains(or elsewhere), a spirit cast by one player may be killed, but the beauty of having multiple ritualists is that when someone loses a spirit before it has been recharged, it can be instantly be replaced by someone else, thus allowing an INFINITE supply of spirits and making the trek up the mountains a seamless job. Use of the retracting wall method will provide optimal defense and fire power.

Counters

  • Not remaining behind spirits while fighting.
  • Obsidian Behemoths attacking you beyond normal aggro range. (sidestep if you cannot hide under a ledge/behind a rock)
  • Charged Blackness Chain Lightning off of spirits or allies to you.
  • Getting Hexed with Glimmering Mark
  • Lag
  • Terrorweb Dryders in large numbers spiking aoe on allies or spirits.
  • Too many interrupts from Mindblade Spectres and Riders.
  • Dead Threshers having much longer wanding range than one aggro circle. (the bridge) Note: spirits have a very long range too, so hexing and running a bit, and then sidestepping projectiles is a good method of killing these adversaries.

Notes

This build is slightly more adept at handling the aggro from Behemoths and is the prefered build due to its overall defensive ability superior to build #2 which uses Anguish, needing a hex to do extra damage.

Mountains and Beyond 2

<pvxbig> [build prof=Rt/Mo SpawningPower=8+3 Communing=10+3 Channeling=12+1+3 ProtectionPrayers=2][Boon of Creation][Bloodsong][Vampirism][Anguish][Signet of Spirits][Painful Bond][Armor of Unfeeling][Rebirth][/build] </pvxbig>

  • Pain for Anguish as a more steady form of damage.

Equipment

Stated above.

Usage

Same as other Mtn Rits

Counters

Same as other Mtn Rits

Notes

This build does very high amounts of damage in all areas except the Chaos Plains, but the lack in versatilty and defense could prove to be a weakness, making build #1 more prefered.

Vale Rit

<pvxbig> [build prof=Rt/Mo SpawningPower=8+3 Communing=10+3 Channeling=12+1+3 ProtectionPrayers=2][Boon of Creation][Bloodsong][Vampirism][Disenchantment][Signet of Spirits][Painful Bond][Armor of Unfeeling][Rebirth][/build] </pvxbig>

Equipment

Stated above.

Usage

You alongside your Vale partner(if you have one) will clear the Forgotten Vale, and alongside the perma shall complete Escort of Souls, the quest in the Ice Wastes, 1/2 of the Mtns including the quest, and possibly two keepers of souls alongside the other Rits if they have been successful.

Counters

Same as other Rits

Variants

  • Shadowsong used either in place of Armor of Unfeeling or Bloodsong to increase defense and make the run to the vale easier.
  • Summon Spirits in Place of Armor of Unfeeling for better survivability in CERTAIN situations. Requires a bit of experience to do properly.

Notes

This build is versatile in being able to provide large amounts of damage while hindering enemy attacks with blinding and stripping them of their enchantments.

Ghostly Might Variant

<pvxbig> [build prof=Rt/Mo SpawningPower=8+3 Communing=11+1+3 Channeling=11+3 ProtectionPrayers=3][Boon of Creation][Bloodsong][Vampirism][Anguish][Signet of Ghostly Might][Painful Bond][Armor of Unfeeling][Rebirth][/build] </pvxbig>

  • Shadowsong is useful just about everywhere to decrease overall damage possible against spirits and/or the summoner.
  • Pain in place of Anguish for a longer-lasting, cheaper spirit. (relatively same damage output)
  • Wanderlust simply for having another spirit and adding to the overall defense of other spirits.

Equipment

Stated above.

Usage

Same as other Mtn Rits

Counters

Same as other Mtn Rits

Variants

Wanderlust or a build using protective spirits to keep comrades alive better.

Notes

This build is versatile and must also cover areas with less than 4 other allies. In Chaos Plains, the 5 Ritualists split into two teams: one going down the left side towards the reaper, one going down the right towards the reaper. Bone Pits can be handled by 1 Spirit Spammer, and the Spawning Pools may require three extra allies depending on the experience of the players and spawns.

Mountains and Beyond Summoner Variant

<pvxbig> [build prof=Rt/Mo SpawningPower=8+3 Communing=10+3 Channeling=12+1+3 ProtectionPrayers=3][Boon of Creation][Bloodsong][Vampirism][Pain][Signet of Spirits][Painful Bond][Summon Spirits][Rebirth][/build] </pvxbig>

  • Shadowsong is useful just about everywhere to decrease overall damage possible against spirits and/or the summoner.
  • Anguish Depends on ur energy upkeep abilities and preference

Equipment

Stated above.

Usage

  • Same as other Mtn Rits.

Counters

Same as other Mtn Rits

Notes

This build is slightly more adept at handling the Bone Pits Barrage, so it will almost ALWAYS end up being used there. It may be used to help support Pools or the Mountains job if something isn't going well Describe the build.

Sliver Perma Tank

<pvxbig> [build prof=A/E ShadowArts=12+1+3 DeadlyArts=3 EarthMagic=12][Glyph of Swiftness][Deadly Paradox][Shadow Form][Glyph of Lesser Energy][Stoneflesh Aura][Sliver Armor][Feigned Neutrality][Earth Attunement][/build] </pvxbig>

Equipment

  • Armor: Max with + Shadow Arts headpiece, the best Vigor Rune you can afford, Radiant Insignias and Attunement Runes.
  • Weapons: A 20/20 Earth staff +20% enchanting energy +5. An Enchanting 1-hand weapon and a shield with armor +10 vs. lightning, and possibly a shield with +10 armor vs. fire.

Usage

  • Tank for Chamber clear
  • Clear the Ice Wastes solo except for quest
  • Tank for Escort
  • Solo 1/2 of Unwanted Guest Keepers
  • Tank for Mountain Reaper Spawn and Demon Assassin quest
  • Tank Dryders in Wastes quest.
  • Pull Vengeful Aatxes away from last 2 Keepers long enough for others to kill them.

Variants

  • EBSOH or BUH for higher damage against Smite Crawlers. Depending on your ranks, doing higher damage can be more beneficial than survivability, and in fact, the higher damage can improve survivability better than Stoneflesh Aura.

Counters

  • Not maintaining Shadow Form.
  • Lava Font
  • Body block in Ice Wastes without enough aggro to down Smite Crawlers.
  • Frozen Burst if you're not careful.
  • Smite Hex caused by Frozen Burst hitting a Smite.
  • Loss of Energy due to large numbers of Graspings or extended fighting without proper management.
  • Hitting traps without proper protection.
  • Charged Blacknesses in general
