NOTE: This page is for users to tweak or propose changes for the Main Page. Admins will keep an eye on this page and copy over good contributions as needed. The Main Page is too rich a target for vandalism, but we want every user to be able to contribute their own suggestions for the Main Page in an organized fashion.
Guild Wars PvX Builds Wiki has been created to provide a new home
for all of the builds created on Guildwiki. On our wiki you will find a large collection of
both PvE and PvP builds. We have ambitious plans to further improve both the structure and the policy side. We hope that www.PvXBuilds.com will become an even better resource for build
creation, collaboration, and evaluation!
Builds are divided into subcategories for your convenience. Below, you can find an overview of all the categories, and descriptions of the builds they contain.
Trial Builds – Builds which are complete but not yet ready for actual voting. All untested builds prior to the implementation of Real Vetting can be found here.
Trash builds – builds that have received a rating that does not meet the minimal threshold for working builds. As per PvX:DELETE, these builds will be deleted after a two week grace period if no attempt is made to improve them.
Recycling – Before you start writing, look through the Unfavored builds to see if you can rework one of a similar concept to the build you wish to submit.
Build Format and Syntax – Guidelines to follow when writing your own build. Simply copy the syntax and fill in the information.
Build Writing 101 – This guide will help ensure your build is well-written, viable and meets the standards and expectations of PvXwiki.
Avoiding Common Mistakes – This guide will help ensure that you don't make common errors when writing build pages.
Evaluating Build Articles:
Official Vetting Policy – This policy governs most aspects of build submission and build vetting.
Editing Builds – For additional information regarding both the process of creating/vetting a build under the Real Vetting system, as well as additional policy aspects, see PvXwiki:Editing Builds.
Why Builds Work Well – Understanding the criteria that governs whether or not a build works well.
Deleting Old Builds – A policy governing deletion of old, unfavored builds.
