The SV Curses build is a revamp of the original SV Necro, but instead focuses on Curses as well as Spoil Victor. This takes out bad life-stealing skills in place of anti-melee hexes.
Attributes and Skills

Reckless Haste
Mark of Subversion
Awaken the Blood to make your hexes more powerful.
Shadow Strike or Lifebane Strike- Blood of the Aggressor
- Hexer's Vigor
- Rip Enchantment, Rend Enchantments or Strip Enchantment for enchantment removal.
Equipment
- Survivor Insignias, with Runes of Vitae and a Rune of Superior Vigor
- A +5 energy Spear of Fortitude
- A set of Shields, each with AL +10 vs. X and -20% Crippling.
- A 20/20 Blood Magic offhand, for when you're not under attack
Usage
- Throw anti-melee Hexes on attackers
- Spoil Victor can be thrown on almost anything. Monks who heal allies with lower health take damage, as will most pressurers
- Manage energy on high energy spells with Glyph of Lesser Energy
Counters
- Standard anti-caster counters
- Heavy Hex removal, such as Expel Hexes or Convert Hexes
Variants
- Ward Against Melee can be used for anti-melee purposes.
- Glyph of Lesser Energy can be dropped for Signet of Lost Souls for energy management
- Rigor Mortis or Defile Defenses make good anti-blockers
