This ranger can spam blindness through the combo Ebon Dust Aura, Volley. As only two core skills are needed to achieve this, you have many optional slots for more conditions, more defense or additional damage skills.

Equipment

• Any Ebon Bow of Enchanting.
• Survivor Insignia are recommended to compensate for the loss of HP due to the bow grip of enchanting.

Variants

• Both Point Blank Shot and its duplicate Zojun's Shot for more damage to targets at close range
• Keen Arrow is particularly effective when there is an increased chance of a critical hit (such with higher Marksmanship or as a teammate using "Go for the Eyes!")
• Take Whirling Defense for blocking against physicals.
• Aura of Thorns to cripple multiple foes
• Vital Boon to trick the AI into attacking lower health targets
• For use on players only (not heroes), any PvE skill such as:
  • Signet of Infection with Screaming Shot to cause bleeding and disease.

• You can lower Earth Prayers safely to 8/9 and increase other attribute lines or Marksmanship/Expertise

Usage

• Important: You must use an attack skill, otherwise Ebon Dust Aura will not cause blindness.

Always stay at range and away from Mesmers, enchantment removal is the worst thing that can happen to this build. Use Aura of Thorns not only to cripple, but as cover enchantment. Ebon Dust Volley works especially well versus all Dervishes with Vow of Silence that cannot be blinded by Blinding Surge Elementalists, Madness Titans and Arms of Insanity.
