This build uses the basics of an Elementalist Earth Tank setup. I like to play my Ranger so I came up with a way to farm the Gates of Kryta mission on him. I was inspired to make this build by the great people at The Rangers Beacon.

I run a full Radiant set with a superior wilderness and a wilderness survival mask, and a major expertise rune.

My health(out of a stance is 420)seems a bit low but being able to keep up Melandru's Resilience 100% of the time is worth it.
 
I am using a Totem axe and an in stance shield(+44 health, insc dmg -2; both while in stance), but any 20% enchant mod weapon should work. I have 40 energy with this setup.

Keep Stone Striker, Stoneflesh Aura, and Melandru's Resilience up at all times(except when just left with graspings{they only cripple so you can use Storm Chaser for energy gain per hit}) this will leave you taking 0 damage and negate all of the hexes and conditions. I use Armor of Earth to eliminate critical hits against me. I put in Mental Block to help mitigate some of the damage you will take in the dead time between Stonflesh casts, MB auto refreshes everytime you get hit so it is a one time cast and is always up with the amount of creatures hitting you. Sliver Armor and Light of Deldrimior are your two offensive skills, LoD deals holy damage so it doubles against undead. Just run past "OINK" and put up Stone Striker and Stoneflesh before you aggro. Remember when the first Hellhound dies you will get swarmed. Just keep up the enchants and Mealndru's Resilience and you will be fine. I just resign out wen my Inventory is full.
