Latest revision as of 21:07, 2 November 2010
This build has been archived as of 11:37, May 14, 2010 (UTC), for the following reasons:
This build had been designed for the following use: This build was in the category Great before being archived. |
This build uses Weapon of Quickening to be able to recast all weapon spells in high speed to support the team by interrupt and the damage from Splinter Weapon on melee and ranged players. Particularly designed to supplement various Spell-heavy builds and Spirit-heavy builds listed on PvX-wiki, without the need for energy management skills such as Siphon Siphon or Boon of Creation which are prevalent in most ritualist builds.
- A second variant utilizes Restoration Magic Healing Spells to provide healing support.

<pvxbig> [build prof=Rt/E commun=10+3 channe=12+1+3 spawni=8+1][Weapon of Quickening][Splinter Weapon][Great Dwarf Weapon] [Ancestor's Rage][Essence Strike][Dulled Weapon][Vampirism][Glyph of Lesser Energy][/build] </pvxbig>
Restoration WoQ Support
<pvxbig> [build prof=Rt/Mo commun=10+3 restor=12+1+3 spawni=8+1][Weapon of Quickening][Vital Weapon][Great Dwarf Weapon] [Wielder's Boon][Rejuvenation][Dulled Weapon][Breath of the Great Dwarf][selfless spirit (luxon)][/build] </pvxbig>
Inspiration WoQ Support
<pvxbig> [build prof=Rt/Me comm=10+1 channe=12+1+1 insp=8][Weapon of Quickening][Splinter Weapon][Warmonger's Weapon][Ancestor's Rage][Renewing Surge][Dulled Weapon][Leech Signet][Power Drain][/build] </pvxbig>
Equipment
- Any max armor, make sure your health is around 560-600 and your energy at 45-50.
- Staff of the Forgotten (Communing/Channeling) or any staff in Communing/Channeling Magic with the same stats is perfect.
- Consider a superior rune instead of a minor rune, as it is PvE.
Usage
- Maintain Weapon of Quickening on you and important caster professions! (Elementalists, Monks and Ritualists)
- Use Splinter Weapon and/or Vital Weapon on the martial professions. (Warriors/Dervishes/Paragons/Rangers/Assassins.)
- Throw Great Dwarf Weapon and/or Warmonger's Weapon on Assassins, Dervishes or Warriors to easily keep causing knockdowns and interrupting casters.
- Don't cast any Weapon Spells on yourself as this would end WoQ, although it can be recast quickly since it has 5 second recharge.
- Cast Ancestor's Rage on Warriors and other melee fighters to deal AoE damage to adjacent foes.
- Cast Dulled Weapon on groups of attacking foes; particularly when foes bypass your frontline and threaten the backline.
- Use GoLE and/or Essence Strike as often as possible to reduce the pricey GDW, WoQ and Dulled Weapon.
- Keep Bloodsong and/or Vampirism and/or Rejuvanation up.
Counters
- Regular anti-caster spells (ie. Backfire, Diversion)
- Hard interrupt of WoQ (ie. Distracting Shot)
Variants
- Other weapon spell selections include Nightmare Weapon and Sundering Weapon.
- Energetic Was Lee Sa can be equipped for other energy management.
- Take Spirit Rift for an additional AoE nuke.
