This build has been designed for the following use:

This build is for Hard Mode Underworld runs. Advanced teams that do this run often can complete it in less than 25 minutes. The Vale team consists of the Perma Sin tank and the 2 necros (SS and FoC), who work together to accomplish Vengeful Souls. The 3 Terra Tanks split up to handle Servants of Grenth in the Icy Wastes (smites), The Terrorweb Queen in the Spawning Pool, and Imprisoned Spirits in The Bone Pits. An Assassin/Dervish running Holy Scytheway can be substituted in the Bone Pits. Any of the Terra Tanks then handle clearing parts of the Chaos Plains to prepare to do The Four Horsemen quest on a basis of availability. The Permaform E/A builds are generally preferred, but the setup using E/Me in variants can be used with minor changes and is only 5 - 10 minutes slower. The Perma Shadowform runner is either A/Me or Me/A, and handles Clearing the Chamber and Unwanted Guests in the Labyrinth (where the team starts).

The Assassin Terras should all carry Zealous Scythes with 20% enchant and +5 energy incase one ever gets low on energy. Make sure to sweep where there is lots of enemies.

The core of this team relies on the use of consets, make sure that at least 2 people in the team have them.

Terra of Wastes

Equipment

  • Max Armor with Radiant Insignias.
  • A Weapon with Enchanting +20%.
  • Necessary Runes.

Usage

  • Party enters Underworld and wait for Consumables to be activated.
  • After the Permasin clears the chamber head to Wastes.
  • After popping the reaper, make certain that the quest objective's spawning point (The Ice King) is safe.
  • Stand where the Terrorweb Dryders spawn and recycle your Shadow Form, Wait 10 seconds then use Shadow of Haste.
  • Run to the Reaper of the Icy Wastes and take quest right before you recycle Shadow Form again.
  • Deadly Paradox will cancel your Shadow of Haste and shadow step you instantly back to where the Dryders have spawned.
  • Kill all 18 dryders, the quest will erroneously update as complete after the first 2 groups of 6 have appeared.
  • When finished, head to The Chaos Plains to assist for The Four Horsemen quest.

Optional

Counters

  • Failing to maintain Shadow Form.
  • Riposte and Deadly Riposte; don't attack Bladed or Vengeful Aatxes.
  • Lava Font; avoid standing adjacent to a Terrorweb Dryder with another person near it.
  • Shock; goes through Shadow Form's protection, Charged Blackness use it.

  • Smite Crawlers use Area of Effect Smiting skills which will go through Shadow Form.

Usage

  • Party enters Underworld and wait for Consumables to be activated.
  • After the Permasin clears the chamber head to Mountains.
  • After popping the reaper, make certain that the quest objective's spawning point (Demon Assassin) is safe.
  • Aggro as much as possible (but not blacknessess!) to kill the Slayer.
  • When low on energy swipe at the group of enemies using your zealous scythe but be careful.
  • When finished, head to The Chaos Plains to assist for The Four Horsemen quest.

  • Riposte and Deadly Riposte; don't attack Bladed or Vengeful Aatxes.

  • Once the 3rd group of Dryders has appeared and come up on top the bridge, it is safe to exit the Bone Pits.
  • If ONE of the Imprisoned Spirits dies, you will NOT fail this quest, but you cannot afford to lose more than one.
  • When finished, head to The Chaos Plains to assist for The Four Horsemen quest.

Usage

  • Party enters Underworld and wait for Consumables to be activated.
  • Maintain your enchantments.
  • After the Permasin clears the chamber head to Pits.
  • Spam Farmer's Scythe when you can vs multiple foes.
  • Use Banishing Strike on Bone Minions for additional area damage.
  • Before popping the reaper, make certain that the area around where he will appear is cleared of Bone Collectors and Bone Terrors.
  • Take quest Imprisoned Spirits, then make your way back past the Imprisoned Spirits that spawn to block the Terrorweb Dryders.
  • Once the 3rd group of Dryders has appeared and come up on top the bridge, it is safe to exit the Bone Pits.
  • If ONE of the Imprisoned Spirits dies, you will NOT fail this quest, but you cannot afford to lose more than one.

Optional Skills

  • Heart of Holy Flame in place of Aura of Holy Might (Kurzick and Luxon title track skill). Less damage, but the build still functions normally if you do not have access to the title track skills yet.
  • Death's Charge in place of "I Am Unstoppable", if you want a quicker way to get around sometimes and you are sure you won't run into Charged Blacknesses.
  • Light of Deldrimor in place of "I Am Unstoppable" if you want to have additional damage and you are sure you won't run into Charged Blacknesses.

Equipment

  • Radiant.
  • Attunement.
  • Necessary runes.
  • Weapon with +20% enchantment duration.

Usage

  • Maintain Shadow Form.
  • Use AoE hex degen and health degen to clear chamber and complete quests.
  • NOTE: Do NOT use [Cry of Pain] when clearing the chamber. This is a rookie mistake; CoP causes scatter and therefore completely mucks up your entire aggro focus; use degen to kill them. This is why the most popular variant seems to be [Radiation Field].
  • Complete Clearing the Chamber quest.
  • Complete Unwanted Guests quest.

Optional Skills

  • Radiation Field; adds additional degen over time to counteract healing.
  • Viper's Defense; adds additional degen over time to counteract healing.
  • Wandering Eye; requires points to be allocated to Illusion Magic, for additional damage.

Counters

  • Failing to maintain Shadow Form.
  • Casting AoE Hexes on Mindblade Specters.
  • Standing near Ursans or Monk while they are being targeted with AoE spells.

Vale Perma

Equipment

  • Max Armor with Survivors Insignias.
  • Daggers with +20% enchantment duration

Usage

  • Wait for the Chamber sin to clear Chamber, then walk around to the T-split leading to the Wastes.
  • Kill the Aatxes and turn towards the Labyrinth. The Chamber should have the way cleared for you now.
  • Move on towards the Vale, killing 1 or 2 groups of Aatxes on the way.
  • Round up every Grasping Darkness in the Vale, tank them in the corner behind the house in the center. Make sure you don't forget the Grasps at the Statue.
  • After all the Grasps are dead, move on to the statue; round up all the patrols circling near the Statue that hinder the way for Wrathful Spirits.
  • Ball those patrols at the jagged rock near the statue, and stand in Nearby range approximatly.
  • Let your SF end after these patrols have died and the Reaper is spawned. The reason behind this is that Illusionary Weaponry ignores Shadow Form.
  • When aggroing a group of spirits, the Vale sin is always the first to use Chilblains. Use your attack skills as you see fit.
  • Once you've completed Wrathful Spirits, move back to the Labyrinth, and wait just behind the bridge. Commence maintaining Shadow Form.
  • Tell the necros to take the quest when you're ready to aggro the ~15 Mindblades.
  • Ball all of the Mindblades on a pillar on the far end of the large hallway, around the middle. Do not attack the Mindblades!
  • Tell the necros to start escorting the souls.
  • Once the necros are past the second flight of stairs, you can start attacking the Mindblade Spectres.
  • After the Mindblades are dead, feel free to wander around killing some more beasts here and there; you're done.

N/Rt

    • Make sure you're not too close; you'll get aggro rather easily.
    • Do not rush it. You have one of the faster runs, thus you have enough time to be careful.
  • Vale: Wait for the Vale sin to ball up the Grapsing Darknesses. Cast SS and follow with "By Ural's Hammer!". Then cast Spirit Rift, Ancestor's Rage and Signet of Corruption.
  • Coordinate Chilblains with the Vale sin.
  • Escort: Wait for the Sin to signal he has the Mindblades balled up. Walk past towards Mayor Alegheri, and make sure you're within spellcasting range of the Souls.

  • Wait for the Chamber Sin to clear the Chamber. Follow the Vale Sin and kill anything he tanks.
  • When at the Labyrinth: Wait at the Statue until the Reaper is spawned, and take Restoring Grenth's Monuments.
  • Vale: Coordinate Chilblains with the SS Necro. The Vale sin will use the first Chilblains, and then it's up to you to keep Illusionary Weaponry down.
  • Escort: Wait for the Sin to signal he has the Mindblades balled up. Walk past towards Mayor Alegheri, and make sure you're within spellcasting range of the Souls.
  • Once the spirits are escorted, walk back and stand behind the Vale sin when you want to kill the Mindblades.

Variants

For a slower (around 5-10 min) way but still effective, you could use this setup instead of the 3 Perma Shadowform Elementalists.

Terra of Wastes

  • Go to the Icy Wastes, clearing Smite Crawlers and Coldfyres as necessary.
  • After popping the reaper, make certain that the quest objective's spawning point (The Ice King) is safe.
  • Do not take the quest, wait for the permasin to arrive and assist you.
  • Wait where the Terrorweb Dryders will appear and have the permasin take the quest Servants of Grenth.
  • Kill all 18 dryders, the quest will erroneously update as complete after the first 2 groups of 6 have appeared.
  • When finished, head to The Chaos Plains to assist for The Four Horsemen quest.
  • Permasin should stand by to assist but not interfere in the aggro of the terrorweb dryders.

  • Take quest The Terrorweb Queen, and go kill her.
  • When finished, head to The Chaos Plains to assist for The Four Horsemen quest.
