- Though I'm not sure crit strike & crit eye are both necessary with zealous daggers, might be able to drop one or the other for exhausting assault--TahiriVeila 02:24, February 26, 2010 (UTC)
- Probably don't need rush either now that i think of it, you've got constant 50% IMS--TahiriVeila 02:25, February 26, 2010 (UTC)
- It needs rush. been usin this since the update. Impale is another nice optional. It ganks other seeping sins faster than they can gank u. The Wojo (Brb House on Fire!) 08:08, February 26, 2010 (UTC)

- Yea the skill which has a 60% uptime 50% snare which can do about 190 AL Ignoring damage is pretty dumb. --Frosty 14:23, February 26, 2010 (UTC)
- U forgot the bit where it does all of that for 5 energy in a 1/4 cast and is in an easily accessible attribute line (for sins at least). --PVX-Tyris 14:39, February 26, 2010 (UTC)

- Ye, that's "just" spike build. Also, I use malicius strike as variant. Really nice damage. Shoud be put as optional?--ValeV 20:39, February 26, 2010 (UTC)
I feel a change in the wind. I feel a nerf coming for Seeping Wound. Anet, don't upset the weather plz, or you might get hit with a thunderbolt. One with the anger of many people. Shadow Form Slayer
SW got a tiny nerf
21 damage at 12 CS now. Not a big deal. It's still OP. Karate Jesus 00:14, 27 February 2010
- Yea it's not omfg crazy, but still amazing. --Frosty 00:15, February 27, 2010 (UTC)

Lead
Would bringing something like Black Mantis Strike be worthwhile in the optional? it would trigger the hex with its cripple which is triggered by the hex, as well as providing another spammable 1/2 sec lead in case of a diversion on jagged. Also allows you to use a damaging attack instead of jagged if they're already bleeding. Eyeless Sniper 19:26, February 28, 2010 (UTC)
- Black Mantis Strike is excellent, although it's used in place of Jagged. You don't need it in this build because you already have Rush for a speed boost and Seeping Wound as a snare. Zuranthium 05:22, March 2, 2010 (UTC)
- I got a similar idea looking at this. Just using a knock off SP build with this instead of the shadowsteps. That way you can hit them with fangs and trampling, and then continue the spike from there. This is starting to sound like a whole nother build, something I might have to work on... Arcdash 19:40, March 2, 2010 (UTC)owait, nvm, I'm an idiot. Arcdash 19:41, March 2, 2010 (UTC)
- I was mainly suggesting it to make sure you don't lose as much damage in case of a diversion and as an alternate lead when they're already bleeding. reapplying bleeding every 2 seconds is rather pointless. Instead you could hit for +19 every other lead attack and still maintain bleeding on the other two chain starts. the cripple wasn't the main point, rather, the bonus damage and its ability to trigger the DOT if bleeding is removed.Eyeless Sniper 20:17, March 2, 2010 (UTC)
- But reapplying bleeding every 2 seconds sounds pretty nice when you start talking about a condition being removed. Besides, cripple SHOULD be the main point of using black mantis. +19 or +20 makes an average of ~+5 dps, using BMS; not much, so forget the damage. Jagged is much more available; one of the easiest applications of bleeding in the game, really. And remember, we're talking about a Seeping Wound bar here.--Ipsen13 00:53, March 6, 2010 (UTC)
- Well, atm my preferred chain is SW->Black Spider Strike->Critical Strike (for energy)->Black Mantis Thrust/Jagged Strike->Fox Fangs->Trampling Ox/Blades of Steel. Still though, BSS is an interesting, but expensive way to lead a chain.72.199.119.247 05:32, April 25, 2010 (UTC)
