This will give much more faction if you top a highscore. (this is how, i think, the score in Zos Shivros are so much higher than some places).

That's just the start of it though, personally i would say that the siege turtles (later waves) are among the easier foe in the mission. Come back an hour in (or so) and flag hench and heroes by their spawn points (2 or 3 of them) if you are confident that they will be able to kill two siege turtles (distracts and ps) then you are increasing your faction per minute by i don't know, say 10/20? This works and all but if you do the math u need 100 minutes to get 5k factions and u need 1000 minutes to get 50kfactions wich u can get in under 50 min with mqsc. This should be rated good not great tbh

Not for nothing, I think this is great while it lasts. Being a husband and a father, my GW is rather limited to playing at odd hours or very late at night. And with everything else I want to accomplish in game this is one thing less I have to worry about. It may take a while, but it's easier to AFK while I sleep or am spending family time. Than to have to take time away from questing to do speed clears. I wish there was a way to AFK feather and ecto farm, lol.Fyrfytr998 20:27, December 19, 2009 (UTC)

Sebv2727's vote

If the priest doesn't do what he's supposed to, you're doing something wrong. It doesn't need perfection to work at all. Do you rate 600/Smite wrong because if you don't cast Prot Spirit you die? Did you rate it down when SB was bugged, because if you didn't watch it on the enchantment bar, you died? And in fact, you said that you can use any degen skills. That surely makes it more universal? Please, just explain the vote to me a bit more. --SaberhagenUser Saberhagen Wiki Sig(My Talk) 16:00, December 23, 2009 (UTC)

Hi, we didn't make the game easily exploitable. If you complaints along those lines, I recommend complaining to Anet. Karate KJ for sig Jesus 18:26, 29 December 2009

From PMs on Guru (Need to explain something)

""we didnt make the game so easy to exploit, complain to ANET." [quoting me from above]
We didnt make the bank that easy to rob. They should have had lasers.
We didnt make that old lady so easy to push down and steal her purse. She should have been sturdier.
Those Jews should have been less flammable.
you see where I'm going with this?
Just because you can exploit it, doesnt mean you should. definitely doesnt make it ok."

"its an exploit. posting exploits publically is against the eula/tos. The fact that its bullshit is beside the point and im not here to argue that point either. it does however need to be taken the fuck down."

I feel the need to explain something about this build and builds hosted here on PvX.

  1. First of all, PvX is for documenting meta builds. We don't decide whether or not a build is "ethically" or "morally" appropriate for the game. We decide whether or not it works in the current metagame, nothing else.
  2. Neither this build, nor any other build violates the EULA. This build no more violates the EULA than Shadow Form does. A good example is the henchmen contest skill bars that were pulled from here. That act didn't technically violate the EULA because builds are not considered exploitation as Anet put them into the game. All builds/strategies that follow the normal concepts of the game and do not use botting or help from a source outside of the game are not considered exploits by Anet.
  3. The suggestion that we "remove" our builds based on exploitation is not up to users. That is up to Anet, and as far as Anet cares this does not qualify as exploitation and is a healthy alternative to botting JQ or FA.

sounds like some retards think gw is srs bsns. ··· Danny Hates Snow 23:18, 29 December 2009 (UTC)
I was told by fellow guild members that Anet DOES consider this a violation of the EULA and that they'd take action against any people who did this, I guess cause its a glitch? Oh well, I'm not gonna do this anymore :P72.199.117.151 03:34, December 30, 2009 (UTC)
No offense to your guild members, but they're entirely wrong. I even talked to Joe Kimmes about it, and he said that it's no more of an exploit than Shadow Form is (that's where I got that quote from). It isn't against the EULA, and if you'd taken the time to read the EULA you'd know that.
According to the EULA, nothing inside the game's normal boundaries is considered exploitative. Bots are, cheating in competitions is, but afk'ing is not. Karate KJ for sig Jesus 05:01, 30 December 2009
Oh, and no where has Anet said they would take action against this build. Karate KJ for sig Jesus 05:02, 30 December 2009
I guess my main concern is that this is a glitch, and that permaing isn't; Either way we're still waiting for a giant nerf hammer to smash SF, and that'll probably smash this too. Only time will tell.72.199.117.151 06:27, December 30, 2009 (UTC)
I'm sure they'll get around to the bug that makes this possible eventually, but for the time being it's perfectly valid. Karate KJ for sig Jesus 06:31, 30 December 2009
Remove hold-out bonus and award more faction per kill is easiest way imo--Relyk talk 07:38, December 30, 2009 (UTC)

I think your just jealous because you didnt figure it out... pocketsniper_02 09:56, December 30, 2009 (UTC)

This build has been posted on PvX since December 12th. I have been using it regularly since about the ninth. Nelson (the [BGW] Leader) has been using it for longer. He learned it from a friend months before that. I have not been banned. None of the PvXers have been banned. Nelson has not been banned. People in my alliance have not been banned. Nelson's friend has not been banned. Nor will we. --SaberhagenUser Saberhagen Wiki Sig(My Talk) 12:11, December 30, 2009 (UTC)

Technically, using this build is playing the challenge. The player is supposed to keep the priest alive (check), it is also recommended that the player wait as long as possible before killing the Adepts (check). Once that is completed I try and make a stab for the uber mob. I get pwnt, but it's still fun trying. I swear, people just love running their gums for the sake of running their gums. I also love that they do so, all the while not even signing their posts.Fyrfytr998 16:04, December 30, 2009 (UTC)
This is the same kind of glitch that people used for months in Fort Aspenwood. Monks would use infuse health, and the necros at the inner gates would run after them trying to put death nova on them. The goal was to get the necros inside the green gate, because at that point the gates were impenetrable. No one was banned for using the glitch at that time, and they won't be banned now. Self-Dmg Skill Choices

After a small bit of experimentation (i.e., completely statistically irrelevant), it seems to me he's more easy to lure out with Verata's Aura (sac 33% hp) than poison heart+ sig of agony. I'm using mindbender, and he seems much more finicky with the latter (i.e., either healing or not following @ all). With the former, however, I have very little trouble getting the poor guy to follow me. Any other similar experiences? I'm adding Verata's as a possible variant. 69.249.223.63 01:14, January 1, 2010 (UTC)

Letting SF expire on my assassin seemed to work better than Sig+Heart as well. Probably because large HP sac with one skill is slightly easier to do (lol1click). Toraen-Gifts PlzToraenSig3 02:09, 1 January 2010 (UTC)
Just use OoB if you have it + another sac. 1/4 second cast 20% is super easy. ··· Danny So Cute 17:01, 1 January 2010 (UTC)

Luxon Adepts

The next obvious step. Zos Shivros Points, 2 a minute. However (i believe) the luxon adepts become worth +1 point more each minute (+3 points every three mins i think). So you are getting 2+(1x the amount of luxon adepts. 7 or 8?) each minute... 10 points a minute... with no risk of the priest dying... you can top the high scores while afk! so as long as before you quit you kill the adepts. This will give much more faction if you top a highscore. (this is how, i think, the score in Zos Shivros are so much higher than some places).
