Constructive criticism would be great^^ thanks in advance. --Morten 15:54, 26 September 2007 (CEST)

As for Droks: Have you ever tried it on a Droks run?! Well, I'm certain you didn't entirely because Grawl Crones make use of the Elite Plague Signet which will transfer all negative conditions to you ... that's it then with the Crippling/damage reducing effect ... — Ranger-iconLuobailong ···talk ···builds 00:23, 27 September 2007 (CEST)
Beside that it's very much like the variant of the Build:D/Mo Avatar of Dwayna Runner. — Ranger-iconLuobailong ···talk ···builds 00:25, 27 September 2007 (CEST)
No, i can assure you i did. but I didn't notice that in particular, will fix that in the build so thank you for the criticism.however, notice that grawl crones are generally not that enormous threat and you can run them easily without veil of thorns. also the two skills are useful with the rest. nevertheless, i was able to complete the run , if you can say so, just with the help of the remaining skills then. and as for the variant problem, it has just half of the skillbar in common to that build man. it'd be inexact to say so. --Morten 13:26, 27 September 2007 (CEST)
Moving back to trial phase to improve the page and the build. --Morten 13:48, 27 September 2007 (CEST)
Rewritten, can someone please me help and archive the current discussion?--Morten 11:48, 28 September 2007 (CEST)

D/P ?!

This build is still only a minor variant of the already established builds here on PvXwiki. It could be easily added to those in their variant sections. BTW, the attribute distribution is far from perfect. Hm ... why having the Paragon secondary at all then if there are other possibilities that have a better outcome:

Paragon secondary? Mostly because of remedy signet , it can be used undet VOS unlike the two alternatives you mention.the best outcome is surely the signet from the paragon line if you ask me. i fear not using a paragon secondary, if it can be useful. however you make a good point with "i am unstoppable" but only with a maxed or near maxed title track, otherwise it's just 12 secs of protection out of 30.. a bit poor :p also, since you seem to be used to running, maybe you could help with attribute distribution then :p and finally, this build uses a bit of new things, so IMO deserves a page. no builds with signet of mystic speed in PvXwiki yet, am i wrong. :p --Morten 03:01, 30 September 2007 (CEST)
As soon as you activate "I Am Unstoppable" the effect of getting crippled ends. Thus, I'd only activate it when getting crippled - then you still got some nice 12 secs of not-getting-crippled whatsoever. The problem with your build is that it is only a variant as it's based on the Vow of Silence approach. — Ranger-iconLuobailong ···talk ···builds 16:54, 30 September 2007 (CEST)
yeh I am aware of your point. what do you think about attribute distribution? what would be yours? --Morten 19:44, 30 September 2007 (CEST)

I use a similar build to run Droks for money, However I do D/MO with following skill set:

Mysticism 8 + 1 + 1 | Wind Prayers 10 + 1 | Earth Prayers 12 + 1

Signet of Mystic speed|Mystic Regeneration|Fleeting Stability|Conviction|"I Am Unstoppable!"|Faithful Intervention|Holy Veil|Vow of Silence

  • First off the stats are how they are partially because I didnt want to buy another 15k helm and also I like only 8 second VoS with 20% enchantments for a total of 10 seconds. That way when it recharges its also off and I can cast it right then.
  • Basically Faithful Intervention and Holy veil allow you to have two enchantments all the time without having to recast so you always have 30% speed increase. Also Holy Veil just gives you so much room for error on the VoS and for removal.
  • From my experience its faster (except against 2 shadow step and pious haste version) and more mindless than a D/A less thinking with one button for run and an overall better build. I thought about making a thread but saw this build. No offense to the original poster but there is just so many better options than paragon imo. 06:13, 9 November 2007 (CET)
you make some good points; I'll treasure them. I can't rewrite the build ATM though, due to ragequitting this wiki. feel free to do that yourself if you want to. --Morten 17:24, 9 November 2007 (CET)
What is the usage for the D/Mo build shown above? I really want to try that build but I don't know how. Panda Man 08:41, 21 November 2007 (CET)
The exact same, but maintain Veil on yourself and remove to get rid of conditions instead of casting Pious Restoration. -- 08:47, 21 November 2007 (CET)
Are there any varients for the "I am Unstoppable" skill with a Monk secondary? Panda Man 03:03, 13 December 2007 (CET)
There's a reason why I did not include that skill , it leaves you unprotected for some time since it has a long recharge, even if you maxed the title. the good thing about the skill is that it also removes cripple actively. For my build I preferred to focus on reliability and on being able to remove the crippling at any time. if you still want the skill, use it instead of purifying veil maybe. --Morten 06:34, 24 December 2007 (EST)

Hi, I am new at running, and I like this build. I was wondering if anyone had suggestions on where I should practice running with this build. (I have all 3 campaigns and EotN) Thank you. Panda Man 20:14, 4 November 2007 (CET)

It looks like this build is designed to run just about anywhere... But I would think that if you could run from Beacon's to Drok's while using this then that would basically be your practice since that is what this build aims for. No really other need to practice if you can get the Drok's run down. Joshgt2Sig Joshgt2 (Talk) 20:26, 4 November 2007 (CET)

From beacon's perch to droknar's forge is maybe the hardest run in prophecies ,because of a combination of: common water hexes and crippling traps, enchantment removal, heavy damage passages and frequent knockdowns, and is also one of the few routes that require vow of silence also keep in mind that you MUST know all the run by heart (and it's very long). I suggest you practice with general running using other builds, learn the routes, until you get confident and are able to make the right choices while running. there are also a few useful tricks to learn like the so-called "ranger stepping" (extremely fast zig-zag movement while you keep running forward, used to achieve a better aggro breaking, and to trick ranger-type foes into shooting away from you .) Getting used to this will take you from some hours to some days. Then, proceed to try the droknar run with this build until you learn it by heart. Even so, with bad spawns, you may die even with no mistakes. it's kind of normal, and people you're running will usually wait for your second try before leaving.

Easier routes you may want to consider: (from the easiest to the hardest)

  • Ascalon to Yak's Bend (Effortless) (also the reverse route)
  • Lion's Arch to Sanctum Cay(Very Easy)
  • Yak's Bend to Lion's Arch(Easy, can be challenging in some passages) (also the reverse route)
  • Crystal desert, from augury rock towards all the surrounding missions and outposts (average)
  • Droknar's forge to Deldrimor Warcamp (Annoying in the last passages)
  • Elona's Reach mission+bonus (needs cold blood, you arent allowed to screw up since you run for cash)
  • Deldrimor to Marhan's Grotto (Short and tricky)
  • The droknar run : (Long and challenging) needs concentration. Also, no screwups allowed like elona's reach.
  • Running between other (southern) shiverpeak outposts (Depends, generally very challenging)

They are most exclusively prophecies runs, since in the following campaigns running was made useless, except the kodash bazaar run used to achieve vabbian armor with a "fresh" character, or for elite capping. You need the help of someone who has already finished Nightfall and has access to Junundu wurms already so you can suicide and he crosses the desolation for you. (this doesn't allow you to skip any missions though) IDK about EOTN runs,(I quit GW a couple months ago) but I heard there are some.

Have fun. ^^ --Morten 17:47, 6 November 2007 (CET)

Some of those are too easy tbh. I ran lion's->cay with a rit without a speed boost. –Ichigo724Ichigo-signature 18:37, 6 November 2007 (CET)
I know, but he's new at running.--Morten 21:00, 6 November 2007 (CET)

Then sub in skills on your own. We aren't paid to do field service. :P -- 08:44, 21 November 2007 (CET)
The R/D build shown above is mostly Proph and NF skills. Only Zojun's haste is factions, but I guess you could replace it with a different ranger running skill.

if you had a nice low req paragon shield could you put some points into that attribute for the shield, or is the extra armor just unnessessary?Invincible rogue 18:22, 21 November 2007 (CET)

you can run droknar just okay with the suggested setup, although using a low req paragon shield is technically possible. I personally run a +45health when enchanted , -20% crippling duration req9 tactics shield borrowed from my warrior (which at zero attribute level will give you 8 armor bonus plus the health bonus and cripple reduction anyway). In other words:of course you can do it if you want, I simply wouldn't trade 8 armor for all those attribute points. --Morten 01:43, 24 November 2007 (CET)

why remedy signet? Trigg3rh4ppy 11:35, 15 March 2008 (EDT)

because it is VOS compatible unlike other skills. good to remove crippled and other conditions while having VOS on you which would prevent spells like mending touch from being cast.--Morten 08:35, 20 March 2008 (EDT)

Build should be changed to Dervish/Ranger

Antidote signet got a boost. It now removes poison, disease and blindness and one other condition. It has the same cast time and recharge as the old paragon signet.

O Urite. BTW you forgot to sign. --Morten 12:47, 15 June 2008 (EDT)

Doesnt Work Anymore, Mystic speed nerf

<pvxbig> [build prof=Dervi/Ranger mysticism=10+1 wind=12+3+1 earthpr=8+1][Signet of Mystic Speed][Mystic Regeneration][Fleeting Stability] [Vow of Silence][Faithful Intervention][Watchful Intervention][Conviction][Antidote Signet][/build] </pvxbig> -- Jjberks 17:15, 13 September 2008 (EDT)

Signet of Mystic Speed is still a great skill and is still effective at high wind prayers ranks. -- Jebuscontests 18:42, 24 November 2008 (EST)
so slow compared to other Dervs now. None runs this. Archive imo. ---Chaos- TheDentist 09:09, 11 January 2009 (EST)
