One VERY nice build, finally something that benefits Kurzicks well ;) Napalm Flame 13:50, 8 May 2007 (CEST)

I'm working on variants. It's still a very nice build. But variants are going to be needed as what is posted doesnt work very well for AB (better off with an AOE spammer) or RA (not enough damage, groups don't cluster, but the KD is very powerfull here). Shireensysop 00:14, 20 June 2007 (EDT)

You know, that Apply Poison doesnt work with elemental weapons? So Apply Poison is crap here Parsley 10:42, 5 July 2007 (CEST)

...would recheck that m8. Readem (talk*pvxcontribs) 21:15, 5 July 2007 (CEST)

could use a cover enchantment Hex. pretty important in a hex shutdown build.--Coloneh 10:34, 17 July 2007 (CEST)

just a thought but if your primary damage is degen and you're not using any marskman skills, do you really ned the 9 att points just to meet the bow req? wouldnt you get the knockdowns without it? imo better to go with zero marksmanship and buff wilderness SpaceBiscuit 22:48, 11 October 2007 (CEST)

The bow damage is a nice little bonus, and the degen gets constantly reapplied anyway. It's all up to personal playstyle though. Find something you like and that you're comfortable running, and go with it. cedave(contributions_buildpage) 23:07, 11 October 2007 (CEST)
How about volley? More KD's. FearDrake! 18:39, 4 November 2007 (CET)
No. Less KDs, cuz it would cost more. ~~ User Frvwfr2 signature frvwfr2 (T/C/Sysop) 18:53, 4 November 2007 (CET)
but you have 4 energy regen, no need to uber spam volley. but your right, losing 18 enrgy=BAD FearDrake! 20:07, 4 November 2007 (CET)

Thunderclap Variants/Testing

If you go to my build page, you'll notice I've been experimenting with the build quite a bit. The Fiery Thunderburst build has the advantage of widespread degen, helping to remove Turtle/Luxon Warrior groups in one fell swoop. I've also found it mildly useful in AB, although admittedly something has to be done to make a Thunderclap build more AB-viable. The Coal Spiker build is particularly useful on the Luxon side of Fort Aspenwood, easily removing the tightly clumped AI groups. It's also been put to use very well in AB as a lone capper, although working with anyone is still preferable. cedaveLocust's Fury(contributions_buildpage) 23:42, 14 August 2007 (CEST)

awsome build very fun to mess with and get cussed out in ab or aspenwood

GWEN

With Poison Tip Signet out, I'd suggest replacing Apply Poison. At 5 Wilderness Survival, it lasts for 10 seconds, and I've found that to easily be sufficient to take out most enemies. Saves you 15 energy, at that. Just a thought. cedave(contributions_buildpage) 04:49, 26 August 2007 (CEST)

Works much more smoothly with poison tip sig(far less interupts, saves 15 energy, lasts longer).--Fallen 04:47, 6 September 2007 (CEST)

Location based rating

Ratings should not be based on locations, correct? i.e., Raptas... ~~ User Frvwfr2 signature frvwfr2 (T/C/Sysop) 14:48, 15 September 2007 (CEST)

Bump plz... ~~ User Frvwfr2 signature frvwfr2 (T/C/Sysop) 04:54, 16 September 2007 (CEST)

Location - A place of settlement, activity, or residence: This town is a good location for a young doctor.. ~~ User Frvwfr2 signature frvwfr2 (T/C/Sysop) 05:00, 16 September 2007 (CEST)
Not a dictionary definition. A definition of what "locations" in your sentence referred to. — Rapta Rapta Icon1 (talk|contribs) 05:02, 16 September 2007 (CEST)
Rating it based on the location it is made for. ~~ User Frvwfr2 signature frvwfr2 (T/C/Sysop) 05:03, 16 September 2007 (CEST)
Well anyways, g-night... ~~ User Frvwfr2 signature frvwfr2 (T/C/Sysop) 05:07, 16 September 2007 (CEST)
Ok, forget me trying to get an answer. Here's the thing. A build for only Fort Aspenwood is already pretty bad, but I'm not going to lower the rating because of that. It's when a build does nothing for an entire game, only functioning on one side, only functioning against NPC's, and doesn't even kill shit, when it's going to be voted down based on location. — Rapta Rapta Icon1 (talk|contribs) 05:27, 16 September 2007 (CEST)

GoeP

how about glyph of elem power and an +1 (20%) item? Image-darkstone knight Sig Darkstone Knight (talk) 19:03, 9 November 2007 (CET)

Because GoEP is certainly not mentioned under Variants... As for the +1, that's not gonna do much. Cedave bad cedave (contributions_buildpage) 00:11, 10 November 2007 (CET)

damn, i didnt saw that Image-darkstone knight Sig DarkstoneKnight (T) 18:47, 13 November 2007 (CET)

apply poison and troll unguent? the energy will already be bad with thunderclap. put some energy management skills in there. Trigg3rh4ppy 11:38, 15 March 2008 (EDT)

Nah, You die and the like 5 second respawn is your energy management because when you respawn your at full energy. It's faster and better then wasting time for energy to recharge.Huynh sig Huynh Sanity 22:09, 3 April 2008 (EDT)

I ran into someone running this in RA. It was pretty lolsy. Felt you should all know. --71.229 22:10, 3 April 2008 (EDT)

I'm sure it's embarrassing when you get hit by something like this. You don't have enough time to use any skills with activation times (you could get lucky with 1/4 cast every now and then, though). I used to play a build like this, and I'd laugh whenever I'd get someone in the knockdown chains. XD -Mike 07:11, 4 April 2008 (EDT)

Conjure

last time I checked it triggered Thunderclap twice, making u lose double energy. (do I have to mention theres still only one KD?=P) --Majnore 17:39, 7 July 2008 (EDT)

Conjures were changed a while ago to deal damage in the same packet as the attack, so it won't drain your energy twice anymore. ــмıкεнaшк 17:42, 7 July 2008 (EDT)
k then its cool I guess --Majnore 03:32, 9 July 2008 (EDT)
