Except this uses Illusion Magic and not Domination Magic. fail. -- lyssan 18:52, 21 June 2009 (UTC)

so I heard AP > MoR? 19:54, 21 June 2009 (UTC)

So I heard going Me/E/A was hax? Amorality 19:58, 21 June 2009 (UTC)
AP will give you energy so you won't need Glyph of Lesser Energy.. And there are 2 skills different between the two Lyssan. Spaggage talk 20:49, 21 June 2009 (UTC)
I shall change to AP. This will open up room for Arcane Echo allowing for more CoP spam :) -- lyssan 20:50, 21 June 2009 (UTC)

Make this into a general illusion pve mes with this build and this one, they all function pretty similarly Athrun Feya [agro] 20:10, 21 June 2009 (UTC)

This build can really smash face. :> Cuilan 00:57, March 7, 2010 (UTC)
I think this build is missing EVAS :oMinionSplinter WeaponExcluded 12:16, April 19, 2010 (UTC)
It's suppose to AoE things up. While great when things are dying, this build becomes worthless if you can't switch your target to a dying foe fast enough or if dying. Cuilan 01:16, April 29, 2010 (UTC)
What are the rest of your team doing then? This is just one part to an eight-man team. Expect things to die fast, or something's not happening properly :o MinionSplinter WeaponExcluded 11:52, April 29, 2010 (UTC)

Energy Issues

I can see the concept of this build...but in order to keep spamming CoP and arcane echo, you're gonna need some e-management

Consider splitting points into Inspiration with things that would benefit from AP's recharge like Power Drain and Waste Not Want Not

Auspicious Incantation and Assassin's Promise both provide energy and can be used fairly often thanks to AP's recharge effect. EDIT: Although, AI really needs more inspiration. At 2 it only gives 18e on arcane echo, and the combo costs 20e itself for a net loss of 2e. Toraen talk 00:22, 8 July 2009 (UTC)
+regen+AP. LifeWikiLOD7 01:15, 8 July 2009 (UTC)
It doesn't seem like there'd be enough energy still. Has this actually been tested or is it just theorycraft? Toraen talk 18:27, 8 July 2009 (UTC)
Urbad. AP gives you 13 energy, then AI + Arcane Echo gives you 18 energy, and that's not including energy regeneration. That should be more than enough to fuel your skills. -- lyssan 14:30, 9 July 2009 (UTC)

so i herd u like....

now that i have ur have a domination skill in there with no points in domination magic? Midgetchinese 07:26, 9 July 2009 (UTC)

CoP fuel. Stop being terrible pls. LifeWikiLOD7 07:34, 9 July 2009 (UTC)
I'm moving this to testing. -- lyssan 14:30, 9 July 2009 (UTC)
all of ur dmg(except CoP) is trigger, so what happends if something u cast it on runs around chasing ur monk?... Flesh Atrophy Epic VQ 14:42, 9 July 2009 (UTC)
It's PvE (also known as the place where enemies are too dumb to attack your monk), and your monk is in your backline. Chances are, you are almost never going to have an emeny chase your monk around. Even then, why run? Slap on a Prot Spirit and you're fine. If you run from enemies b/c your a monk in PvE then urbad. -- lyssan 14:45, 9 July 2009 (UTC)
i find it funny how ppl try to turn something around on some1 who comments on a build who is trying to consider a little thing called HM. and that whole running around thing makes ur timer go 'tick-tick' and then AP has to (45sec) charge and then ur elite is a sham. Flesh Atrophy Epic VQ 21:57, 9 July 2009 (UTC)
So i herd heroes abusing other OP skills were hawt. LifeWikiLOD7 22:45, 9 July 2009 (UTC)
So I herd enemies were as stupid in HM as they are in NM. -- lyssan 01:27, 10 July 2009 (UTC)

So why not use Fragility over Mind Wrack? You at least have points for it, same energy and recharge, it's aoe (less strippable), and you might actually get some damage out of it.--Smilingscar 16:42, 11 July 2009 (UTC)

Good idea. I will change mainbar. -- lyssan 01:06, 12 July 2009 (UTC)

amm why "HRC Staff for PvE only spells. " when you got assains promise?. User:Yaniv242

oops, that was from before the article was updated, I will change it. + ℓγssάή [rage] 14:49, 30 July 2009 (UTC)

one more question, instead of arcane echo, why not put Ether Nightmare, shud be enough energy mangement+more degen with cry of pain, like you said cry of pain isnt that usefull anymore,so why 2 Cop when u can EN and CoP togther. Yaniv242 16:49, 30 July 2009 (UTC)

damage > degen + ℓγssάή [rage]

Lol its archived now because MoR. Uguisebad--Pirate 16:04, July 31, 2010 (UTC)

Based on the new buffs to recharge times and the skills? And this too. Really, Ineptitude is a better choice in melee areas now. The skills recharge so fast, that there's no reason (or time) to use AP. Karate KJ for sig Jesus 16:57, 8 July 2010

Archive indeed/ but maybe tag on a note about using AP in variants for the Me/any PvE Illusion Mesmer cant say its worthwhile for its own page, but in variants on there i think it could still be useful? JaysonMaxxFury 17:03, July 9, 2010 (UTC)
One of the reasons KJ suggested archiving this is that AP isn't worth using for this bar anymore, so I don't think it needs to be added as a variant on that build. Though if you really want to, you could start a discussion on the build's page. In any case, agree with archiving this. Tru...hardly working 17:08, July 9, 2010 (UTC)
Yes. Please archive this. Its sorely out of date after the update... Months ago. 07:09, July 12, 2010 (UTC)
