You could have made better use of Mesmer
I had actually came up with a Raptor farm build that is just as fast, if not faster than the original E/ME sliver solo. Since the E/Me didn't use an Elite and was totally optional... I used 16 illusion and used Signet of Illusion's elite skill to use for all the skills and max them out at 16. I didn't have to put any attribute points in earth magic at all, and still get as much armor and damage as having 16 earth magic. This makes very good use of the mesmers elite skill "Signet of Illusions" and will actually be a bit safer and faster than E/Me since you can use Fast casting. HM or Not

- use a ranged weapon to attack her to keep her aggroed. Once she dies, quit attacking, otherwise the nestlings will interrupt and drain your energy quickly. This is why you want to make sure to bring your block skill and activate it right before you attack her mob. I use a spear, as I can mod it like a totem axe.

- I replaced the snare with Wandering Eye as it seemed to make more sense. I, however, am having the problem of being interrupted too much at once, and it kills my energy and then me. The large damage spike, then the conditions also are killing me. I have a feeling that, Signet of Illusions, being a signet and not triggering Channeling to give energy, isn't helping. And I don't think that using Superior Inspiration for -1 energy loss per interrupt attempt will help much. --pyroxide 08:01, 22 March 2009 (UTC)
- The snare is there to keep the raptors from scattering due to SA. I don't think you would get interrupted that much as you say with MB and SA up.

Typos

- You're either doing it wrong or having bad luck, considering A/E Sliver Form doesn't have problems killing either (taking the same amount of damage with SF ~ Tanking). Although, the A/E can aggro everything at once - making the kill on Broodmother go a bunch faster if you get Aliver to hit. --ShazamTheSnake

Easiest way I've found is to replace Grasping earth with the Sunspear Elementalist skill, Intensity. You wil have to aggro 2 groups of normal raptor nestlings plus the Broodmother group. Wait for Rekoff to come right beside you, then activate Intensity first then Sliver Armor. This is should kill her off. Working, not
Is it just me or am I doing something wrong? I cannot get this to work, I got everything what is needed. (Weapon, armor, runes) but still doesnt work!? I can survive for long time, but watching that video.. He kills them so fast, I have to cast 2-3 Sliver armors to kil them, and sometimes they dont even die to that, because Sliver armor doesnt seem to hit all attacking raptors.
Mental Block and Grasping Earth
I'd switch for Mindbender and Ebon Battle Standard of Honor and found it much more effective. Mental Block and Grasping Earth are quite useless in my experience. --

I think this is the most efficient build in terms of speed. Here's a YouTube example of it, 30 dead including boss in 1:27. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4YOgqqcTj9M This should be the default build in my opinion.

After they nerfed Mantra of Resolve, this build is no longer working. Great.

- Not the right thing to do? The instructions on the Template:Build update say, If the change has a major effect on the the build ...leave a note on ...talk ...and change the template of the build to {{Untested-Trial}}. Which is what I did.
- Plus it makes sense to me: if a single skill is nerfed, it's possible to fix the build and there should be some discussion before archiving. confused.
how is this supposed to work? every time (10+ attempts) mantra of resolve take all my energy away while im recasting stoneflesh for the first time. i know to many interupts is listed in the counters section but jeez :\ i am i just reeealy unlucky or somthing?
- According to the usage, you should start maintaining everything BEFORE aggroing the raptors at all, and stop every now and then while aggroing to recast if necessary. ToraenTheJanitor 17:33, 4 April 2010 (UTC)
Needs to be archived.
Sliver armor is nerfed, randomly chooses targets each hit now. The only thing this build can do now is kill all the raptors in normal mode, can't even kill boss in NM. Many builds will get archived due to this I imagine.... 114.77.108.48
