glowstone--Relyk 21:03, September 26, 2009 (UTC)

Added to optionals Thirty9thWord of Healing 21:07, September 26, 2009 (UTC)
Though, the benefit is marginal with 0 energy storage weeeee Thirty9thWord of Healing 21:08, September 26, 2009 (UTC)
which is why ele primary is better--Relyk 21:23, September 26, 2009 (UTC)
Not really, me primary means you never get rupted, and lyssa's means pro spam. --Frosty Mc Admin 21:24, September 26, 2009 (UTC)
Well maybe there's a hint of sarcasm there. But still, I've had quite a bit more success with the mes primary precisely for that reason. If you can't get the chain off, a ranger is gonna lolown you. Thirty9thWord of Healing 21:26, September 26, 2009 (UTC)
I was actually being srs. --Frosty Mc Admin 21:30, September 26, 2009 (UTC)
Woot. I don't think I'd go ele primary at all: Would you really sacrifice fast casting for some extra energy from Glowstone? I didn't think so. Thirty9thWord of Healing 21:32, September 26, 2009 (UTC)
wont waste your elite skill slot--Relyk 21:35, September 26, 2009 (UTC)
Which you would use for....? It already has weakness, blindness, knock-downs and pew pew domoge. What else do you want? Thirty9thWord of Healing 21:36, September 26, 2009 (UTC)
Relyk almost every ele utility bar you can run on a mes is better on a mes. That's why glowstone/glowing ice were nerfed in the first place. --Shazzydiddles 21:42, September 26, 2009 (UTC)
5 sec recharges arent pewpew. la is just a waste imo--Relyk 22:08, September 26, 2009 (UTC)
Cause LA Water had lots of spells under 5 recharge. --Frosty Mc Admin 22:15, September 26, 2009 (UTC)
they also are useful by themselves--Relyk 22:29, September 26, 2009 (UTC)
I guess skill synergy is no longer a viable reason for a build? Thirty9thWord of Healing 22:36, September 26, 2009 (UTC)

Maybe add Kinetic Armor (constant Armor gain) to optionals? 83.86.90.245 15:15, September 30, 2009 (UTC)

why

is ether feast mbar'd? jw. ~iffy

I'm an arena freak and I like splitability. I guess I could put it in optionals... but what would you suggest replacing it with if you did away with it? Honestly, I'm open to suggestions. Thirty9thWord of Healing 22:13, September 27, 2009 (UTC)
Magnetic Surge for more domoge..? Thirty9thWord of Healing 22:18, September 27, 2009 (UTC)
Drain/Insp Ench, Insp Hex? Swiftslash Impale 22:29, September 27, 2009 (UTC)
Etherfeast is a tiny bit of energy denial and a self heal... A little bit of utility. Have that or what Swiftslash said.--Ikimono"Mutton Chop Man"Monk-Paragon-icon 23:07, September 27, 2009 (UTC)

No. It's bad. ---Chaos- (talk) -- 20:32, October 13, 2009 (UTC)
I already said it was bad... But anyhow, this is my point to take the conclusion that this sucks hardcore.... Shia78 20:54, October 13, 2009 (UTC)
Right, but indenting comments then putting a minibar without indent screwed over headssss. Owell. The mainbar is good, I don't get what's with all the terrible suggestions. ---Chaos- (talk) -- 21:09, October 13, 2009 (UTC)

This is so annoying to monk against. If your not on your ass half the time your frontliners are yelling cause they are permablind.Wynne 23:13, October 13, 2009 (UTC)Wynne

its pretty easy to dodge, unless ur team lets the squishy stand next to their monk and train the monk--Relyk 23:38, October 13, 2009 (UTC)
try dodging it when you're trying to dodge a warrior. Hard to do both at the same time.--Ikimono"...And my axe!"Monk-Paragon-icon 23:44, October 13, 2009 (UTC)
Glyph of Swiftness would make it harder to dodge as well. You could use it on your enchants as well. Seems like it might be a good optional.24.67.140.80 00:29, October 14, 2009 (UTC)Wynne

Kinetic armor

With weakness and blind. Overkill on the defense, maybe? I don't like on mainbar. I put it in optionals. Thirty9thWord of Healing 21:42, October 15, 2009 (UTC)

+68 armor is too good to ignore in a build like this where it can be easily maintained. Allows it to take damage like a tank. Fiendly Fire 22:34, October 15, 2009 (UTC)
Tbh, it probably should be optional'd. Not because it isn't awesome (which it is), but because this build is also tagged for CM...and having an 8 second enchant in arenas that big is probably a bad idea. Imo, either remove the CM tag or make Kinetic optional. It just isn't needed in CM. Karate KJ for sig Jesus 23:33, 15 October 2009
make a note to switch it for cm, like we do with res sigs for ab.FMK- 00:13, October 16, 2009 (UTC)
Non physical damage also exists...--Ikimono "...And my axe!"Monk-Paragon-icon 00:39, October 16, 2009 (UTC)
Correct, this mes could use some protection against searing flooms and MB as well... Dream Traveler Haru 00:44, October 16, 2009 (UTC)
Put in optionals and note to take for RA, and note unneeded for CM where you don't give a fuck if you die.... Shazzydiddles 01:30, October 16, 2009 (UTC)

fixed--Relyk 02:01, October 16, 2009 (UTC)

Stone striker + mantra of earth?? Smity Smitingtontalk2me 16:53, October 23, 2009 (UTC)

ukiddingamiright? +68 armor is better; you don't need the energy from mantra either. Fiendly Fire 03:18, October 24, 2009 (UTC)
stone striker+mantra=no attune needed!--Relyk 09:04, October 24, 2009 (UTC)
According to wiki mantra of earth reduces all damage, even from armor ignoring sources. Smity Smitingtontalk2me 14:26, October 24, 2009 (UTC)
i recently looked at such a skill and it just happens to mention such in the description--Relyk 23:02, October 27, 2009 (UTC)
I meant stone striker claims that it only converts elemental and physical damage to earth damage, but it actually converts all. Smity Smitingtontalk2me 00:43, October 28, 2009 (UTC)
sorry if i thought u were talking about mantra then :<--Relyk 02:32, October 28, 2009 (UTC)

It won't replace Attunement, it's not like people are gonna attack you so you can energy 24/7, especially with shutting down those who attack you. Lol. ---Chaos- (talk) -- 14:43, October 28, 2009 (UTC)

I wouldn't replace attunement, I would replace Kinetic armor. Smity Smitingtontalk2me 15:01, October 28, 2009 (UTC)
Kinetic Armor reduces more damage than mantra does and the energy isn't needed. Armor ignoring damage isn't that common in RA either. Fiendly Fire 15:14, October 28, 2009 (UTC)
There is alot of mesmer shit in RA, but ur right Kinetic reduces most damage by about 20% more than mantra does. Mantra+Stone Striker could be a good variant to Kinetic armor IMO because it is highly effective at reducing damage, reduces all damage, and provides additional energy management, which don't be a pompous, can always be good thing (Earth Attunement removed, interupted, list goes on and on, plus there are times when this build doesnt' have the energy to be able to meet the demand of constant spamming when ur getting lucky on your halves skill recharges). Smity Smitingtontalk2me 18:02, October 28, 2009 (UTC)
Mantra + Stone Striker doesn't reduce all damage. --Frosty Frostcharge 18:10, October 28, 2009 (UTC)
