I second his, and other people's, pro-unwell position. I felt it needed a topic, so here we go. I also wanted to flaunt my new made-up word. [[User:Shogunshen|Shogunshen]] 17:55, 3 November 2007 (CET)

With the change to conjure nightmare, this build no longer has energy management to speak of. --[[User:Bishop|Bishop]] 19:07, 30 December 2007 (EST)

Revision as of 00:07, 31 December 2007

Seems pretty good, but conditions are dropped like nothing in the current meta, so I don't know how hot Inept can be in the long term. Maybe add Arcane Conundrum to the main bar for caster pressure? AoE doubling of casting time isn't that bad, can cut the number of spells being chucked at your team in half. --Powersurge 04:18, 21 October 2007 (CEST)

It's effective especially against warriors frenzying, with fast casting it makes for some decent linebacking. AC doesn't really fit in because of the lack of a suitable cover hex. Maybe Confusing Imges though. Tycn 05:17, 21 October 2007 (CEST)

AC? Lord Belar 05:18, 21 October 2007 (CEST)

Arcane Conundrum. The hex doesn't need to be covered in my opinion, because either it'll last the full duration, and be more than a slight nuisance, or the enemy monks will burn up their energy and time removing the hex.

Don't we have Ineptitude mesmers already? Zyber 14:18, 22 October 2007 (CEST)

We have a PvE one, if that's what you mean. Tycn 14:26, 22 October 2007 (CEST)

With some variants. Swiftslash \\ Impale (contributions *sandbox) 17:03, 22 October 2007 (CEST)

I don't know, this doesn't seem that impressive to me.Beast194Sig Beast194 01:49, 23 October 2007 (CEST)

Dont we already have one of these? Dean 04:23, 23 October 2007 (CEST)

See my link above. Swiftslash \\ Impale (contributions *sandbox) 16:54, 23 October 2007 (CEST)

Still, matter of ganker vs stand hexer. Different usages too. Tycn 16:56, 23 October 2007 (CEST)

Not really. Just change some skills around (IoH and DD especially) and you got a somewhat standard ineptitude mesmer. Swiftslash \\ Impale (contributions *sandbox) 17:03, 23 October 2007 (CEST)

Delete ASAP, this is in breach of PvX:WELL, under account of Build:Me/A Illusion Ganker. RustyTheMesmer 02:11, 28 October 2007 (CET)

I agree. I'll post a delete tag. Hammer And Sickle۷ïεדtcolor="red">/c 02:13, 28 October 2007 (CET)
That was fast. Someone's trolling Recent changes...RustyTheMesmer 02:15, 28 October 2007 (CET)
Disagree with the tag. Considering that this build will have a hard rez and fight at the stand, it's already different enough to warrant a different page. Just look at all the minor seconary profession variant builds there are. And Swiftslash, fix up your sig. Tycn 02:48, 28 October 2007 (CET)
It's not my sig. Also /A part of ganker build is changeable (since it's only for d-dagger, and usage diff is minimal. Swiftslash \\ Impale (contributions *sandbox) 19:15, 28 October 2007 (CET)
Tactical usage of skills as opposed to blindly spamming to kill NPCs is different in my book. Not to mention, different purposes. A person looking to find a stand build isn't going to be looking for an Illusion Ganker. Tycn 09:13, 29 October 2007 (CET)
It seems to me that both builds are for different purposes. This is for Arenas, that's for GvG. It just seems there are different uses for each build, all part of the overall Ineptitude build. - Ayumbhara Ayumsig 16:35, 3 November 2007 (CET)

IMO merge to Me/any Ineptitude Mesmer and use ganker as a variant (With usage/build/etc). Too many dupes lying around here already. Swiftslash \\ Impale (contributions *sandbox) 18:32, 30 October 2007 (CET)

I don't think that'd work well. Standard template, but different usages. Like all the R/Mos, and to a lesser extent, eviscerate warriors. Tycn 13:17, 31 October 2007 (CET)

agree, completly dfferent use and this uses many different skills to the ganker. Soqed hozi 15:29, 1 November 2007 (CET)

How is this a dupe? It has absolutely no relationship to the ganker except its key skills. when its usage actually does is entirely different. If all of us put builds with the same elite on one page and made them "variants" nobody would even know what was what. We'd just have one colossal build page for all the elites in the game.--Zeron Master of Magic 03:09, 3 November 2007 (CET)

Just its key skills... Lord Belar 03:34, 3 November 2007 (CET)
Rush/Frenzy seem pretty key to me, if you get where I'm going. --71.229.204.25 03:48, 3 November 2007 (CET)
5 out of 8 skills still seems pretty dupe like. Lord Belar 03:52, 3 November 2007 (CET)
See Cripshot/BA/BHA. 1 skill difference, totally different builds. ZB runner and ZB monks, several of the same skills, totally different builds(the first one's actually good in GvG, for one thing). --Edru viransu//QQ about me/sysop 03:57, 3 November 2007 (CET)

"Leet interrupters that can catch 0.7 casts." You don't need to be leet my friend....I have 3 FPS nowadays and I can catch them. RustyTheMesmer 11:34, 3 November 2007 (CET)

Most mesmers can't consistently interrupt 0.7 casts. And you should be extremely happy with your ping, especially considering where you live :p Tycn 11:47, 3 November 2007 (CET)

for the res i think flesh of my flesh is too risky you would lose half your health maybe go monk secondary and take resurrection chant, its only got half spell range though CsAtlantis 10:35 3 November 2007 (GMT)

FoMF is the standard mesmer hard rez now. Rez chant simply takes too long, and the health loss can be mopped up with LoD and the like. Tycn 11:48, 3 November 2007 (CET)

I disagree with delition, the ilussion ganker works good yes but still it's not the same caus eof hardress and attributes. If we delete this then we can delete every single warrior build except 1 with an axe elite in the build. To remove this is like to remove all AoB builds except 1.
