Power Return out for Distortion --Douche OWNED!WHACK! 17:55, 18 August 2009 (UTC)

Also, I'd change GoLE for Power Drain, that gives you another interrupt for Frustration, energy management and frees up your secondary professional. --Douche OWNED!WHACK! 17:58, 18 August 2009 (UTC)
In the original version of this build I had powerdrain however I found that the energy management with the build was definately unforgiving but can add it as a variant as it does open up your secondary..However Power Return, Outside of PD is the fastest recharging Mes interupt we have atm, replacing distortion with it(When we even have SoM for self defense) leaves us with only a 12 sec rech. Interupt and a 20 sec rech. interupt if we go the variant route.Mesmerizer101 18:36, 18 August 2009 (UTC)

I would go for Power Drain > Drain Enchantment instead of Power Spike and Ether Feast. And u can take Plague Sending instead of GoLE to send out ur blind for another melee. Also wasting some +8 spec at domination only for power spike is a bit waste, doesn't it? : ) --86.151.193.178 08:33, 25 August
Usually it would be, however if you were using the glyph build I had up earlier then you were hitting the only break point this build which is 14 illusion for 10 degen and 10 damage. My idea was for a more damaging interupter however if people would rather be able to use powerdrain and drain we can change the build.Mesmerizer101 17:34, 25 August 2009 (UTC)

If the build's elite gets switched to Ineptitude to appease those who are trashing it for only that reason can we get a vote wipe?Mesmerizer101 17:46, 25 August 2009 (UTC)
That sounds reasonable enough to me. --Wingsy 19:50, 25 August 2009 (UTC)
So made a number of requested changes to the build but cannot come up with a name for the new one..Suggestions?Mesmerizer101 04:03, 26 August 2009 (UTC)
I'd suggest another, shorter recharging, cover for IoP, otherwise it's a free 150 hp heal. Zyke-Sig 05:38, 26 August 2009 (UTC)
It would be however you have interupts and frustration to make it all the more easier to land them on say Cure Hex, Holy veil..Granted PnH would still win probably but you could always bring SoH.
At 14 Illusion Magic this does double the damage that can be healed from this ending/being removed 30 dps and the hp gained from this ending/being removed is 15hp per second this was in effect. BLUE LAZERSEat ItUser-Baby Blue Lazer sig pic 06:43, 26 August 2009 (UTC)

--Frosty Mc Admin 12:46, 26 August 2009 (UTC)

Err meant IoP in my first post and putting Conjure Nightmare on here won't do anything sense you already have max degen from IoP. :oBLUE LAZERSEat ItUser-Baby Blue Lazer sig pic 00:55, 27 August 2009 (UTC)

Ineptitude Illusion of Pain Phantom Pain Optional Ether Phantom Drain Delusions Optional Resurrection Signet

First spot for Efeast, Pdrain or Drain, second for defense. ---Chaos- 13:05, 28 August 2009 (UTC)

Crippling Anguish Illusion of Pain Phantom Pain Optional Ether Phantom Drain Delusions Distortion Resurrection Signet

Keep melee 100% snare throughout the match and pressure something else. Zyke-Sig 06:23, 29 August 2009 (UTC)

Distortion kills your energy and people are too horrible to take advantage of melee being snared. Nothing wrong with Ineptitude on a Frenzy. ---Chaos- 08:00, 29 August 2009 (UTC)

srsly

Ineptitude Clumsiness Wandering Eye Illusion of Pain Return Auspicious Incantation Conjure Nightmare Resurrection Signet

That should be mainbar, clumsiness and wandering eye are too good to leave out. --Frosty Mc Admin 11:38, 29 August 2009 (UTC)

I dislike the idea of speccing the whole bar into failing some attacks. Now you can't cover IoP either, except for maybe with Nightmare, which totally isn't worth it. ---Chaos- 11:48, 29 August 2009 (UTC)
Covering a skill which you have to reuse every 10 seconds is :< --Frosty Mc Admin 11:53, 29 August 2009 (UTC)
Also, it isn't really speccing a whole bar into "some failing attacks", you can disrupt sin chains and stop warrior attack skills which can save lives, warriors in frenzy take massive damage, and it's also AoE so if two melee are but raping 1 person on your team, you do big damage. Although After trying it out you could drop clumsiness for more energy management though 9energy is roughhhh). --Frosty Mc Admin 11:59, 29 August 2009 (UTC)
(EC)Aye. But taking turns with Phantom Pain and Ether Phantom is quite delicate for that. Draining Phantom Pain is a lovely finish off when you need them down quickly, and there still is utility in edenial <3 Deep Wound also reduces IoP's heal and generic pressure reduction, if we as bad players fail at renewing it.
Post-EC: Naturally. Clumsiness/Wandering Eye as an optional for first slot? Good compromising, I'd guess. Then I do fear even more for energy though. 40/40 inspiration set for Drain, gogo! ---Chaos- 12:06, 29 August 2009 (UTC)
Which I ran and it's bad: no drain, interrupt or selfheal is awful. ---Chaos- 12:11, 29 August 2009 (UTC)

And while you're at this, Shorties vote is outdated. ---Chaos- 12:07, 29 August 2009 (UTC)

all mesmers I've faced in RA liked using IoP 76.202.239.96 01:37, 31 August 2009 (UTC)
