I don't see how this build works. I haven't tried it yet, but recharge times on 5/8 of the spells seem to render the mesmer useless (or somewhat not as effective)in medium~prolonged battles. I play primarily as a mesmer in PvE and I think builds like this are what makes people feel mesmers suck at PvE. Gabe14:46, 24 May 2007 (CEST)

Remember that in areas that contain Spirits, it is better to use Arcane Echo on Energy Surge, since Spiritual Pain will recharge instantly.

Should this not be the other way round. If there are spirits rather use Spiritual Pain since it will recharge quicker ?

Runes of Superior Domination Magic, Superior Vigor, Minor Fast Casting, Minor Inspiration Magic.

Why use a superior rune (with -75 health) when Energy Surge maxes out at -8 energy/-80 health @at lvl 14 (which can be accomplished with +1 mask and +1 minor rune and no health penalty)?

E-Surge and E-Burn has been buffed, bringing the 10 dmg for each point of energy lost to 12 damage, so this might have a comeback. --Guild of Deals 18:30, 14 October 2007 (CEST)
