- If only you could use Divine Boon. Otherwise, Smiting is lackluster without Divine Favor. -- Guild of Deals 12:39, 11 October 2008 (EDT)
- I could change it to Mo/Me I guess, easy enough - STAR OF EXILE 12:43, 11 October 2008 (EDT)
- Reversal of Damage too!!! Godbox 12:44, 11 October 2008 (EDT)

- Yeah. --Angelus 12:47, 11 October 2008 (EDT)

I don't know too much about GvG and meta or whatever, but why is Power Return in this build? --Angelus 13:13, 11 October 2008 (EDT)
- Primarily to keep up Lyssa's Aura, secondly as a very spammable interrupt. - STAR OF EXILE 13:15, 11 October 2008 (EDT)
Lyssa's aura makes itself uncoverable. It sucks in GvG/HA/TA. Might be half decent for RA/AB/CM, but there you wouldn't ever want to run a smiter. —ǘŋƐxɩsƫ 13:20, 11 October 2008 (EDT)
- Hmm, that's a point. Thing is - you can cancel Divine Boon and still do decent party support (smite hex/condi/RoD), which isn't too heavy on energy, until you can get LA back up again. - STAR OF EXILE 13:22, 11 October 2008 (EDT)
- Nice, and you can use smiter's boon for pve aswell. =] --Mr.Onion 13:51, 11 October 2008 (EDT)
Testing?
Y/N? - STAR OF EXILE 16:13, 11 October 2008 (EDT)
- More DF imo --Frosty 11:14, 12 October 2008 (EDT)
- Alright, changed to 11, 10(+1+1), 10(+1) - STAR OF EXILE 11:19, 12 October 2008 (EDT)
- Anything else anyone would suggest before moving to testing? - STAR OF EXILE 11:22, 12 October 2008 (EDT)
- Tbh, I wouldn't suggest using this outside of PvE and maybe for Heroes because you're basically trying to create an Eliteless PvP Smiter (because Divine Boon+Lyssa's Aura=Smiter's Boon before the nerf). In PvE, you can use both Smiter's Boon and Divine Boon, though, so it should be pretty great there. ــмıкεнaшк 11:27, 12 October 2008 (EDT)

for reference...
Here's how it would go:
- Divine favor = 12
- 11 * 3.2 = 38.4, rounds to 38.
- double that from Smiter's boon = 76.
- Add bonus from Divine Boon: 76 + 51 = 127.
So you're healing an ally for 127 WHILE doing damage to foes at the same time. Pretty solid. - STAR OF EXILE 13:15, 12 October 2008 (EDT)
testing
Moved from trial. rate gogo. - STAR OF EXILE 13:52, 12 October 2008 (EDT)
- Grr i'll edit the tags for PvP, i guess it can be used in both - STAR OF EXILE 15:07, 12 October 2008 (EDT)
WW
Put Wastrels in the main bar, Power Return at 0 FC does more damage than good. -StarSeeker | My talk 16:37, 12 October 2008 (EDT)
- I'll make it an optional. - STAR OF EXILE 16:47, 12 October 2008 (EDT)
- Preturn @ 0 can be usefull if you use it well, tbh. Interupting the fuck out of fire ele's or dom mesmers is an perfect example, as their e-mangment doesn't matter. —ǘŋƐxɩsƫ 06:38, 14 October 2008 (EDT)
Smiter's boon and all that
Yes, as you say, just putting Smiter's boon works. But why not add Divine Boon while you at it and get an extra 48hp of healing power with every spell? it turns it's healing from meh to pretty good. - STAR OF EXILE 17:49, 12 October 2008 (EDT)

PvP Tags
Yes or no? It seems there's some argument, and this build IS very solid in PvE, just not quite as good in PvP. It's still very useable in pvp tho. - STAR OF EXILE 06:36, 13 October 2008 (EDT)
- Not really. Smiting sucks in RA/AB, and as for GvG and TA, let's just say there are much better choices. Keep it to PvE imo. Also, it's rather disconcerting that this build is receiving more attention than mine... Noemi 11:16, 13 October 2008 (EDT)
Ok, took off the PvP tags, they're gonna stay off. - STAR OF EXILE 12:20, 13 October 2008 (EDT)

Be real brave
Add Zealout's Fire for the res sig :o --Frosty 14:01, 14 October 2008 (EDT)
- It's in variants, and i figure since you won't necessarily be taking this as your main healer, you might at well be able to res. I guess I can make the last slot optional tho. - STAR OF EXILE 14:02, 14 October 2008 (EDT)
- Defender's Zeal accomplish the same thing as Lyssa's aura, only better :/ Godbox 14:18, 14 October 2008 (EDT)
- I disagree, Lyssa's Aura means an extra 4 energy every 3 seconds, with Divine boon up and your natural regen that's a total of 7 energy every 3 seconds. With D-Zeal and Divine boon up, that's 3 energy every 3 seconds plus 2 energy each time the foe hits, and say it's using a sword, that's 2 energy every 1.33 seconds. On average, that's just over 7 energy every 3 seconds. However - D-zeal requires the foe to be hitting, so, if you have aegis/d-anthem or something, then less/no energy. D-zeal can be removed from a foe by it's ally (Yes, LA can be removed from you, but if you're in the backline this is less likely), and if you're only fighting casters, then they aren't attacking a) as fast or b) as often, so less energy. - STAR OF EXILE 14:34, 14 October 2008 (EDT)
- All mobs attack in PvE and it can be maintained on more foes. Godbox 14:36, 14 October 2008 (EDT)
- I don't really care for Defender's Zeal. Heroes aren't really great with it, and who actually wants the mobs to hit with their attacks? Lyssa's Aura serves as unconditional energy management, but having to split your attributes for it kind of sucks, tbh. If it were up to me, I'd use Boon Signet+Castigation Signet (+Mantra of Inscriptions) with an Orders spammer to make sure there will be enough enchantments. Something like:
