Dismiss can be used as a heal when no conditions and can self target, which helps sometimes. Just leave it as a variant, its pretty much player choice Rawrawr Dinosaur 17:16, 20 January 2009 (EST)

Why on earth would you ever use dismiss as a pure heal when you have gift on your bar. Mend is just req, as with the mel shot rangers poison will be flying around like a mad man, and the self-removal is gained by PnH. Dismiss can be ran on the WoH for more splittability, though, while I myself prefer dual-mend. —ǘŋƐxɩsƫ 16:22, 21 January 2009 (EST)

Interesting, me and a friend made a PaH build quite similar to this ([[1]]) although yours seems much more active healing orientated and worked well when i tried it. Mabel 14:09, 10 February 2009 (EST)

This is an important point. Hammer is still in the meta albeit not the HEX meta. Enjoy being constantly magehunter'd and being able to do nothing about it.ComfortOsprey 15:36, 22 January 2009 (EST)
I've seen Aura of Stability run over GoH, it was weird. Lets you spec more into divine, though. crazyCowcow 16:37, 22 January 2009 (EST)
Why on earth are you complaining about aura? It always have been an optional skill(just like rof) but you'd still take it because it's superior to the alternative(gift, which you don't really needed when you have rc + woh). Either way; when facing rawrspike aura doesn't save you either(lol camp prot), and chances are like really small in facing hammers(like as in really really really small). Either way; Aura is in variants now. —ǘŋƐxɩsƫ 16:51, 22 January 2009 (EST)

The mechanics work this way: enchantments are always rounded up; unless it's under 0,5, where it just will be rounded to 0, thus don't even trigger. With hexes <0,5 it's still rounded to one. (excuse me for my bad vocab). —ǘŋƐxɩsƫ 16:55, 22 January 2009 (EST)

RoF over what? crazyCowcow 17:16, 25 January 2009 (EST)
GoH, you can run 13 divine that way for a slight extra heal. However, depends on whether you want healing that is dependent on being hit by say, an axe crit, but can also self target, or whether you want unconditional healing. On the other hand, you lose the redbar of RC with this build, so GoH is just purely redbar to replace that, or 'bar decompression'. ~~ Napalm Flame >=] Napalm Flame Sig Image (talk)·(contributions) 17:18, 25 January 2009 (EST)
The fact that GoH can't self target isn't really an issue except on splits when your WoH isn't with you. But even then you usually have Caretaker/runner. crazyCowcow 17:24, 25 January 2009 (EST)
RoF is for spikes you missed the prot on. It isn't red bar. PnH can remove DW on spikes, i.e, the same effect. Also Tab says you're all bad. - Miserysig (talk) 17:25, 25 January 2009 (EST)

You need gift for redbarring or you're getting rolled by hexway. I pretty much like rof + gift more, but appearantly most monks prefer aura + gift. —ǘŋƐxɩsƫ 08:16, 26 January 2009 (EST)

Drop Mend Condition and Gift of Health for Shield of Absorption and Dismiss Condition

First of all, don’t give me that “Gift of Health pushes red bars up” thing, because dismiss gives like 20 less healing and removes a condition without splitting attributes. The only downside to running dismiss is that you need to be targeting someone with an enchantment, but you are running an aegis chain, so everyone is going to be enchanted anyway. Combine Gift and Mend with dismiss for bar compression, and bring SoA in the freed up spot. SoA is really good against gimmicky spikes like the KD + RoJ spike, or kappaspike, and works really well on spikes by reducing damage by a shit ton. Plus by dropping skills that are only “Target other ally,” you can hold your own without the need of the WoH monk next to your ass. JonasGWWAvatar Jonas 23:12, 31 January 2009 (EST)

Then mainbar it. Contrary to popular opinion, I'm somewhat reasonably busy. --Gah Echo mending hurray Eat my uber regen. 20:27, 2 February 2009 (EST)
I have never obs a monk that brings dismiss on a PnH hybrid bar. 21:10, 2 February 2009 (EST)
Enchanted allies usually don't need the heal as much as ones that just got rended + dw. Pluto 02:26, 3 February 2009 (EST)
You're running an aegis chain, yes, but in optimum conditions its up 2/3rds of the time. In not so optimum (dual ranger) its up like 1/6th of the time; so then your only enchants are gonna be on guys who have prots and they aren't gonna need healing as much as the guy dropping down from lingering + poison who would be useless enchanting. Rawrawr Dinosaur 17:44, 3 February 2009 (EST)

Also, SoA is bad in GvG, it was great in VoD but it's not good anywhere else. It might be an amazing spike catcher(it's not that amazing actually), but it's a 1sec cast so you're not going to be able to prot it before spikes. SH is lots better b/c of it's cast time, and the fact that it works immediatly. —ǘŋƐxɩsƫ 06:10, 5 February 2009 (EST)

I heard Patient Spirit is way better and you can even heal yourself with it. (Kiron 16:18, 16 February 2009 (EST))

Heck, with Dismiss Condition and Patient Spirit you could heal yourself otay. It would be embarassing if you died from health degen while the woh is down. (Kiron 16:20, 16 February 2009 (EST))
I heard big heals that instantly heal are better, actually. You have woh to clean the prot. —ǘŋƐxɩsƫ 06:19, 17 February 2009 (EST)

Patient spirit is great to use as a secondary self heal with the low cost of energy it is a great skill to use if your getting spiked and KD but its best to combine patient spirit with WoH to get full health The preceding unsigned comment was added by Peterpoho (talk • contribs) 06:58, February 22, 2009 (UTC).
