wasnt this trashed awhile ago? «Novii« 21:41, March 3, 2010 (UTC)

Couldn't find it in 1 sec of searching. Also, someone sorta requested it on the P/A page. I don't care if this gets vetted or not, but I'm bored. ToraenTheJanitorToraenSig2 21:48, 3 March 2010 (UTC)
iirc this nearly got vetted. Worth another go, I like the idea. Hareemuhhh.talk? 22:01, March 3, 2010 (UTC)
The one that was trashed had Wounding Strike for some reason. I posted this on my user page a while ago but got comments like "all scythe builds without WS are shit" - given it was Saint so i probably should have ignored. - AthrunFeya Lau bfly - 23:46, March 3, 2010 (UTC)

An energy sapper. Cracked armor was good because it was extra energy for Foul Feast or extra heath for Restore Condition. :| --Ikimono "...And my axe!"Monk-Paragon-icon 01:16, March 5, 2010 (UTC)

That d/w critical scythe build has no deep wound I'm pretty sure, so this should get vetted imo. Hareemuhhh.talk? 19:04, March 4, 2010 (UTC)

ye it should. - AthrunFeya Lau bfly - 19:06, March 4, 2010 (UTC)

Why would I use this over a D/P that has more energy when this build doesn't use leadership skills? Greevar 22:09, March 4, 2010 (UTC)

Good?

Can someone please explain what makes the Build:P/A Dagger Spammer better than this build? 216.195.26.128 03:55, March 6, 2010 (UTC)

better ias, better attack rate therefore quicker adren gain, meaning tpiy is more maintainable on the sin build. - AthrunFeya Lau bfly - 11:03, March 6, 2010 (UTC)
...at the expense of AoE damage increased by 20...30...32%. Also, there's no reason why you couldn't use Drunken Master on this build too. Widow maker 12:22, March 6, 2010 (UTC)
scythe is still inherently slower than daggers :p - AthrunFeya Lau bfly - 12:25, March 6, 2010 (UTC)
All that is only true if you are only fighting a single foe. A scythe vs a mob generates more adrenaline and more damage than daggers. 216.195.26.128 15:18, March 6, 2010 (UTC)
Plus though some dagger attacks now have fast activations, so do Eremite's and Mystic, so it's a trade-off between a bit faster (and thus more damage) and AoEness. Widow maker 02:08, March 7, 2010 (UTC)
lol P/A is great while P/D is good, but W/D is great and W/A is good. So much for the ratings. :P 216.195.26.128 17:05, March 21, 2010 (UTC)
^ this. Build ratings need to be more or less normalized. Baselessly voting /A and /D into separate categories and contrary to other primaries is pretty dumb. ··· Danny So Cute 14:36, 14 April 2010 (UTC)
For some reason W/D deals way more damage than P/D. I suppose that's cause wars have Flail and paras don't. So for a para /A is rated higher because it's better than /D. Other way round for wars. ;3 Oh and I lol'd at your comment about scythes. You rarely ball stuff that means you rarely abuse aoe effect of your scythe. General PvE faggotry is all about making as much damage on a single target as possible since you get anough aoe damage from things such as splinter or arage and balling foes often takes time and doesnt bring that much benefit. Finally I want to say that W/D does more damage on a single target than W/A! :3 --Myotheraccount 14:45, April 14, 2010 (UTC)
Take an IAS on P/D tbh. Aggressive or DMaster both work. (Not to mention, a W/D can't take TNtF.) ··· Danny So Cute 14:47, 14 April 2010 (UTC)
33% > 25% + armor penetration. :> I actually dunno now. It really is funny how these builds are vetted. Not that they are so far apart performance-wise to make the diference between good and great. o.o; Btw, gww is gay. < unrelated minirant. --Myotheraccount 14:52, April 14, 2010 (UTC)

I am, in fact, exactly that. Also, did you get banned on GWW? ··· Danny So Cute 15:07, 14 April 2010 (UTC)
Orly? Who are you then? I wanted to ask on your talk and rant about GWW a bit too but then changed my mind. Anyway yes I got banned for a day without warning or anything. Apparently I was trolling but really I just acted a bit informally and made an ironic ragey comment. That was enough to make a sysop's friend epicly butthurt though. :> I also saw that you got banned for trolling. Didn't know that opening your own section to ask something about a policy was trolling but apparently on GWW it is. Maybe you were really trolling though. That would be a nice troll. :^ Still, those fags be too paranoid and butthurt. I don't recall GWW being like that. What did you guys do to them? o.o (if your going to tell what you did to them then post links plox, I wanna read :3) --Myotheraccount 15:36, April 14, 2010 (UTC)

Variant

Would a soldier's fury variant be nice? You'd get IAS and more adrenaline (thus energy), which would counter the energy loss from not taking TPIY!, and increasing damage. At the cost of losing 20 armor though. Though AR is mentioned as a variant which does that same thing but also takes up an extra slot. That skill slot could then be used for another refrain (bladeturn for blocking, burning for conditional burns, hasty for IMS) or another attack skill. 17:48, June 20, 2010 (UTC)

Just realised you need to be under a shout for it to have effect. Lead The Way would be nice for that as you'd have a IMS to switch target quickly. 17:51, June 20, 2010 (UTC)
I always use soldier's fury with my melee builds, and i take lead the way and burning refrain (which goes nicely with the fact that youre adjacent to stuff). While i havent really used it much since the nerf, it's still a viable alternative. 71.179.84.94 02:56, July 14, 2010 (UTC)

Merge

I'm going to disagree on this one. They use the same concept with only the attack skills changed, but if we merge these, we'll have to merge W/D & W/A and R/D & R/A (and whatever else). Also, it's just easier for the build pack and copy+paste purposes if they're separate pages. That way you don't end up with P/any Attack Spammer - 1 and P/any Attack Spammer - 2 (less convenient when you're looking for a specific build). ToraenTheJanitorToraenSig2 03:15, 7 July 2010 (UTC)
