Have fun. We used this build for a while...pretty much makes warriors very imba. The meta is probably the worst to play something like this, but can still be fun to play. Very very hard hitting on unprepared teams :) --Jim Eno 21:40, 30 July 2007 (CEST)

Expel Hexes is better. — Rapta Rapta Icon1 (talk|contribs) 21:42, 30 July 2007 (CEST)
silly rapta, then you cant use strength and honor. — RAWR! Skasig Skakid9090 21:42, 30 July 2007 (CEST)
exactly. expel is obviously better on the support-side, but the buff on the warriors makes dead necros faster ;) --Jim Eno 21:43, 30 July 2007 (CEST)

Yeah, Vicious > AoEnvy. - Kowal Krowman {{sysop}} 04:24, 31 July 2007 (CEST)
Yeah, more damage is better and it's certainly a worthy sacrifice. —ǥȓɩηɔɧ/〛 08:45, 31 July 2007 (CEST)
AoEnvy was there for energy management. When we used it, our para had some problems, specially if he had to spam ERemoval. With Vicious it's nastier on the damage side for sure, but I fear the energy engine won't go with another energy skill in. As we dont use anymore that build btw, feel free to experiment. --Jim Eno 14:17, 31 July 2007 (CEST)

This build is really very interesting. If you can guarantee the hits, a Zealous spear can provide better e-mgmt. A high energy set should also be included in case you get DP and need to recast AR. Other than that, the only thing thing that needs to be worked out to make this a viable concept is the e-mgmt. Otherwise, you'd probably just want a caster to bring SoH. - Kowal Krowman {{sysop}} 20:01, 31 July 2007 (CEST)

Perhaps glowing signet? Probably not that conditional with the anthem of flame around. -Kaelor 06:59, 1 August 2007 (CEST)

Seems like a Good idea as normal expel paragons can't remove conditions from both themselves AND teammates. Although I never liked Strength of Honor as it was never much of a damage boost. Zeron 19:34, 3 August 2007 (CEST)

This build looks pretty solid, but energy is going to be a MAJOR problem. With agressive refrain costing 25 energy to cast, having only 1 adrenaline attack, and having only one pip of energy regen, the only way i can see this build working is a zealous spear, and even then you're probably still going to have problems. Goldenstar

Very solid. Good concept, using unlinked utility+smiting buff. With no recharge, having SoH removed on a ally is practically a buff cuz you'll get more regen when you recast it. Wtb wearying strike. 2 5 e attacks is bad.Weariness is fast removal by the elite, and a better spike for after gfte+vicious. But really just excellent idea. Very excellent... holy shi* i wanna run this now!Dark0805|Rant 04:49, 5 August 2007 (CEST)

I don't think this build works anymore with the nerf to GFTE. Doesn't have enough energy. Zuranthium 22:56, 14 February 2008 (EST)

How many people is this build desighned to put SoH on? is it for a meta balanced with 2 wars and the para? Obviously if u do more than 1 SoH this build is gonna have some serious emanagement problems. Id like to buy anthem of envy for a second adren shout, and possibly more leadership however id have to recheck atts.I Heal If U Shutup 12:20, 7 April 2008 (EDT)
Only works on melee, so wouldn't be used on the Para. Mightymousemoush 18:39, 13 April 2008 (EDT)

Balthazar's Pendulum

Would replacing the elite with Balth Pen work? I think it would be another decent elite to run, especially for teams who don't run AoS on their protmonk.I Heal If U Shutup 00:43, 1 June 2008 (EDT)

1x Adrenaline skill whit 4sec recharge 2x attack enj skills gogo adrenllaine skills Massive Image-Massive Sig 11:34, 3 October 2008 (EDT)

I am going to have to massivly agree with you there. if the paragon expects to be able to use empe on recharge, they need to have at least 1 adrenaline attack. 1 Adren attack would free up a lot of energy the paragon would need.--66.192.104.10 12:39, 3 October 2008 (EDT)

Update

Change it some and vote wipe? I aint got a clue what to do, but looking at the votes it seems to be wanting a change. Many people complain of lack of energy, can't afford shit, etc. ~~     Frvwfr2     talk    contribs    admin   12:39, 12 January 2009 (EST)

Hex-Gays

I'd like an explanation as to why this was reverted. Do we really need to call things "hex-gays"? Wouldn't just "hexers, such as ___, ___, and ___ work better? Can we not be infantile?Newms34 05:37, January 23, 2010 (UTC)

Hexgay actually isn't just us. It's a common term used to describe builds that overload on hexes, even in gws. It's not a description of single builds, but more of a team setup overall. Life Guardian 05:45, January 23, 2010 (UTC)
Alrighty, thanks. That makes sense. Newms34 05:47, January 23, 2010 (UTC)
It's offensive and propagates misuse of the word gay. Lazuli 17:48, January 23, 2010 (UTC)
If you think it's offensive, sue the GW players every time someone uses it. Otherwise, shut up. 82.176.3.55 20:28, January 24, 2010 (UTC)
[1][2] No. Complacency is damning. Just because it's widely used doesn't mean it should be. There are better terms for it, terms that don't misuse words used to describe sexual minorities. Lazuli 00:53, January 26, 2010 (UTC)
1) If you think the word gay could bring any offense over the internet then you have a lot to learn 2) Modern day language has evolved so much in the sense that gay doesn't just mean Homo-sexual, infact if you want we can argue it means happy and say it is a shortened version of "happy-ways", happy? --Frosty Frostcharge 01:15, January 26, 2010 (UTC)
Who are you to say what does, what should, and what shouldn't offend someone, even over the internet? Even if people don't mean to take jabs at homosexuals when using the word gay incorrectly, they're reinforcing the idea of homosexuality as something abhorrent and negative, steadily chipping away at any social equality homosexuals might hope to achieve. I do not know who shifted the text in question to "Hex-Skills," nor do I know his or her personal opinions on homosexuality, but I'm glad it happened. Regardless, this is hardly the place for such a discussion. I'm just tired of people throwing around the word like it should be socially acceptable to do so. Words have more of an impact than we realize. Lazuli 02:01, January 26, 2010 (UTC)
Look, internet is a bad place where every idiot on this planet can type whatever they want while being anonymous. That is one thing you have to realise. Most of those people talking about homosexuals over the internet, are generally 12-year olds, who think internet is the perfect way of venting all fustrations that they have in real-life. Just ignore them. If you can't, well, the world wide web might not be the best place to be if you are easily offended. 82.176.3.55 07:38, January 26, 2010 (UTC)
Honestly, the connotations of the words gay and fag no longer mean homosexual. Life Guardian 07:55, January 26, 2010 (UTC)

Don't agree with the term, but Frosty is right (the word was just hijacked in the first place) and Life is also right, it has since changed meaning again, at least colloquially. 188.74.101.228 15:42, January 26, 2010 (UTC)
