Looks quite good. Could be useful in the dungeons with huge mobs and one single boss at the end. Sort of a 2-in-1 build. I fixed some linking and spelling errors too. Seb2net 11:36, 1 November 2007 (CET)
Expertise -= 1, channeling += at least 1. This allows for 4 splinter triggers, and 4 attacks from volley = good. --- Ressmonkey (talk) 12:42, 2 November 2007 (CET)
Under the variants it has the icon for Distracting Shot but the words say Disrupting Shot.Stryk the Lightning 13:30, 2 November 2007 (CET)

Cool idea. I like. I would work nightmare weapon in there though, you already have the attributes for it, and the armor-ignoring damage is quite a boost. Combine with triple shot to cause spike damage (double if not in pve), possibly instead of throw dirt. Alaris 15:46, 2 November 2007 (CET)
- Yes, maybe something like this?
<pvxbig> [build prof=Ran/Rit channeling=10 expertise=11+2+1 marksmanship=10+2][Whirling Defense][broad head arrow][splinter weapon][Volley][distracting shot][nightmare weapon][triple shot][flesh of my flesh][/build] </pvxbig> Timinator 17:19, 2 November 2007 (CET)
- It ain't that mutch additional damage... Sometimes even less damage, so not that mutch difference.- Unexist 18:04, 2 November 2007 (CET)
- I run this in HM and prefer having extra utility. Throw dirt can disable a full Oni spawn and much much more in HM if you have Epidemic, and saves you the need for any other source of blind. Overall it really depends on the rest of the team but additional flexibility and blind>some life steal once in a while IMO. Enigma 18:46, 2 November 2007 (CET)
- It's more than "a bit" of life steal; in fact it's a rather large chunk. But the thing is, utility wins out over damage every time. -- Armond Warblade{{sysop}} 22:24, 2 November 2007 (CET)

- Get a rit to take splinter. — Rapta (talk|contribs) 22:23, 2 November 2007 (CET)
A build like this is extremely useful in PvE. It combines both the useful Dazed from BHA and splinter barrage. In PvE, there aren't usually more than 3 or 4 people mobbing up, so this build works well.

Quick and small poll to see where people stand on splinter weapon. — Rapta (talk|contribs) 02:23, 3 November 2007 (CET)
- Why a hard-and-fast Y/N vote? If there isn't a rit or he's a dick, bring your own splinter. Otherwise, no need. --InternetLOL 02:27, 3 November 2007 (CET)
