And 3. Your pet has +3 health regeneration. All added togeather you ALWAYS(Well 99.9%) die before your pet. Also, if your rezed at a shrine. your pet is raised as well. And even if you die. it still has CoP active, So it can outlast until your rezed. Just a thought sense I've havn't used it in so long and I've VERY rarely needed it. SO BE A SPARTAN AND GET RID OF IT AND PUT SOMETHING MORE USEFUL IN IT'S PLACE!!!

This build is awesome. It has great DPS and can tank. --Ranger-icon-smallfrvwfr2 (talk)(contributions) 13:25, 8 May 2007 (CEST)

I wouldn't go so far as to say 'great dps', it would be about 27DPS (assuming an Elder pet) against an AL60 target. Not too bad, but not really good, either. Tycn 13:35, 8 May 2007 (CEST)
Plus whatever you deal with your bow, and the reduced damage to the rest of your group. --Ranger-icon-smallfrvwfr2 (talk)(contributions) 13:54, 8 May 2007 (CEST)
Much higher damage than half of the noob warriors out there. Swiftslash \\ Impale 23:55, 9 May 2007 (CEST)
Um, not a "Great" build. But it is a pretty good BM build I guess. Readem (talk*contribs) 00:50, 10 May 2007 (CEST)

Judge's Insight

How about taking out Predatory Bond and replacing it with Judge's Insight? Added Armor Penetration with very little downside. It doesn't overwhelm your energy either. Removing 2 points from Expertise and putting them into Smiting means its possible to keep it indefinately. 90.200.188.109 22:54, 7 June 2007 (CEST)

More then half of the damage, the 16HP/sec from Enraged Lunge, is armor-ignoring anyway. Predator's Pounce will probably do more to up the damage then JI.--80.126.3.188 08:59, 17 June 2007 (EDT)

Troll Unguent

Is it really necesary? Predatory bond is good enough self heal aready, I would put those points to 9 marksmanship to at least meet bow req, it would raise overall dps quite a lot and use troll slot for utility stuff like distracting shot. Zweistein 12:22, 1 July 2007 (CEST)

Well... no, predatory bond isn't a very good self-heal, but I tend to take troll out anyway. I replace it with dshot or dlunge for key interrupts and take good hero monks. 14 beast/13 et is my distribution for this build. -Auron 12:36, 1 July 2007 (CEST)

I don't use it, I get by using Predatory Bond and kiting when attacked. I also add Distracting sometimes. Anyway, my version is 16 BM and 14 Expertise, with a req3 11-18dmg longbow, adding Predator's Pounce and removing lame Symbiotic Bond (Have you tried to retreat with that thing on?) Moved to great

since it now has 5 voters with high enough average score I moved it, please revert and excuse me if i did anything wrong. thanks--Morten 08:11, 5 July 2007 (CEST)

moving back to good

Since it has fallen below 4.5, moving back to good. However I do disagree with Greevar's vote. Build DOES NOT put you in harms way if you use the pet commands. Even before Pet commands were implemented, you could just use a Flatbow and run till the mob was on the pet.--Sirron Eblibs 09:19, 25 July 2007 (CEST)

And moving back to great again... Hopefully this does not move too many times.--Sirron Eblibs 18:12, 25 July 2007 (CEST)

Instead of having 10 wilderness survival, have 10 protection prayers, and use life bond on your pet, which greatly reduces the damage to them as well as to yourself. You can then use zealous benediction to heal, at the cost of reduced damage. However, ZB would provide more energy, and through the use of essence bond, large mobs could be easily tanked with massive energy gain for the caster/player. It would be up to the player to choose which other skills should be removed for these additional monk spells.

My point was that if the pet gets mobbed, you'll be taking a lot of damage especially if you're getting attacked as well as your pet. I still believe that the build could use more damage. Greevar 17:49, 26 July 2007 (CEST)

Quit spreading info from a trash build onto a good build. You fail to understand that this is a Tanking build that is also able to do 100+ to single targets every once in a while as a bonus feature. Nothing else. And a ZB ranger? Wtf? — Rapta Rapta Icon1 (talk|contribs) 17:52, 26 July 2007 (CEST)

Pet Rez

Comfort Animal isn't really nesessary if you consider that: 1.The damage it recives is split in half with you. 2.THAT damage is reduced by CoP.
