Surprise, there's more to UW then the 1st chamber and ice wastes. - Skakid9090 01:49, 23 May 2007 (CEST)

You should keep this in your user space for now. No new builds should be submitted to the 'Build:' namespace until the new vetting system is running, see User_talk:Gcardinal#New_Builds. Thanks. --Hhhippo 17:26, 23 May 2007 (CEST)

Bah, thought I did. - Skakid9090 21:35, 23 May 2007 (CEST)

Isn't spirit bond dead? ~~ User:Frvwfr2 frvwfr2 (talk · contributions) 21:17, 3 July 2007 (CEST)

nope, still works fine. - Skakid9090 21:23, 3 July 2007 (CEST)

Isnt the Famine obsolete here? I mean, you can do 600/smiter without the guy. There was a vetted build back on the guildwiki, it was pretty cake to handle too. Namnatulco 22:48, 3 July 2007 (CEST)

Needed for farming the Foundry though. --MasterPatricko 01:15, 4 July 2007 (CEST)
Hm, good point. I wouldn't really know. I guess you could focus the article on the foundry then?^^ Namnatulco 14:09, 4 July 2007 (CEST)
See the top part of this page for more info. Seriously, ice wastes and main chamber are so incredibly over-farmed, other places drop sooooo mny more ecto - Skakid9090 15:00, 4 July 2007 (CEST)
Go ahead and farm things were nr stands right next to you. Unexist 05:42, 5 July 2007 (CEST)
or you could... not farm things with NR =) - Skakid9090 09:12, 5 July 2007 (CEST)

Famine ranger is NOT needed for foundry. I have been doing this alot on my monk with just a smiter hero. If u keep AV and SV up all the time, the titans won't be able to use Chillblains on u. The Margonite Anur Ki (healer) was removed from the first group of margonites quite recently, so the group is unable to heal - part from the ranger - and will therefore go down alot easier. And if u are doing this in HM, Margonite Anur Tuk will keep QZ and Famine up all the time. So i say: Kick the ranger and put Balthazar's Spirit on the monk instead of life attunement and u have a 2 man party that is very efficient and fast killing, AND will recieve more drops. Just remember to stand close to the ranger margonite and use AV/SV to deal some damage through Famine aswell as through Holy Wrath+Retribution --Arthas 20:04, 9 August 2007 (CEST)

If you want to do more than the (over-farmed) first room, then yes you don't need a famine. The preceding awesome-sauce comment was added by Skakid9090. 19:53, 10 August 2007 (CEST)
How do you get past those nastiness Obsidian Behemoths? o_O Mister abc 21:49, 13 August 2007 (CEST)
have the tank go in first, so balth gives enough energy to maintain bonds. then have everyone wand each behemoth to interupt healspring. i've killed them onlky in 600/smite but should work the same (if not better) The preceding awesome-sauce comment was added by Skakid9090. 01:25, 16 August 2007 (CEST)
When I last tried to take them on... They never tried to attack me ^^, There's only 3 of us so face a group of 4 or more you're screwed, and Whirling Defense makes life hell xD I will try this though, it might just work, what do you know? :P Mister abc 18:39, 16 August 2007 (CEST)
I beat 3 with only 2 people, check the patterns they use healspring and wand accordingly =P — Skakid9090 18:40, 16 August 2007 (CEST)
I nearly cleared it with 3: a standard old 55 Mo/W, a N/Me SS and a R/Mo with qz, barrage & rebirth. Got killed on N plain due to an aggro break, it was the only thing left I believe. –Ichigo724Ichigo-signature 19:47, 16 August 2007 (CEST)
I tried it just now Skakid, and you know what? I love you ^_^ Mister abc 20:33, 16 August 2007 (CEST)

someone should fix the points on the ranger build. i mean its fine and dandy now and works but, it could be better with higher beast. 15 beast 6 expertise > 13 beast 11 expertise for the foundry run. its not that big of an improvement but its an improvement nonetheless.

Just thought I'd mention that this build is also viable with heroes. I ran foundry to the fourth room tonight with margrid and tahlkora. Takes a little longer and a bit of practice, but heroes are much more reliable than pugs ;) --Goldenstar 06:17, 23 August 2007 (CEST)

How do you get past the 2nd room? I run this build with heroes most of the times, but no matter how I flag them, they always aggro in the 2nd room. Can someone please explain it to me or post a video?

Flag them in the very corner of the gate to room 3 — Skakid9090 21:42, 2 October 2007 (CEST)

Shielding hands

shielding hands lasts 8 seconds plus +20%(cuz of enchant) and since QZ is up the recharge would be 7.5(idk if rounded up or down but either way shielind hands definatley can be up at all times and reduce more damage than SoA). so wouldnt it make sense to use Shielding hands instead of Shield of Absorption? or would this be too much damage reduction and not do enought dmg to enemies? i dont know how that part works. please explain anyone who knows. thanks Apu of Kwik E 20:52, 18 January 2008 (EST)

SoA reduces 5 damage from the first attack, 10 from the second, 15 from the third and so on. So after a few hits, it outdoes shielding hands. –Ichigo724Ichigo-signature 21:11, 18 January 2008 (EST)
