Hey guys, just wondering if you could clear this up for me :P

Which build is easiest to acquire (whilst being a sin) Easiest to survive (Allowing for more mistakes) Less dependant (If you mess up, will it cause everyone else to die)

And which build is the opposite, hardest. Thanks =]

If you can maintain SF at all, terra2 is going to be your best bet, but khobay is a little tricky. All three sin builds require you to live. If you die, the team is pretty much fucked. Exception would be the situation in which the main tank dies. Hardest is going to be terra1, due to large amounts of AoE from Hydras. LifeWikiLOD7 02:34, 8 April 2009 (UTC)
For your first couple of times as a terra, make sure your the other terra is experienced so they can cover for you if you fail. Andy 12:02, 8 April 2009 (UTC)
Actually, for me T1 is the easiest mainly because the hydras actually arent hard at all. For me, killing the first shard wolf in T2 is harder than all of T1. Also, khobay took time for me to learn him and so did the wolf but on T1 i did it first time and havent failed since cause its poop easyGeneralmurgahn 22:08, 3 June 2009 (UTC)

# Tank build can really find more useful than i am unstoppable for just some trap who can be avoided.

shadow sanctuary could be very useful if u go a/me and also a hex to call with.

some how any way a/e grasping earth + sliver is much better so he kill him self forest wolf and do the deep freeze work. with a good hex caller it go just smooth.

# all roj can also be mesmer/monk: fast cast roj cryers :

*16 fast cast
*12 smiting prayers
*3 inspiration

(make sure to dispatches usefulls hex at eatch players and always call them so you dont hex twice a monster for no shit !)
caller : precast mimic + cast: roj+roj + hex + echo + cry+cry + signets
non callers :precast echo + cats : roj+roj + mimic + roj + cry + signets
+rez if needed ... rez fast

of course they can also be pure fast cast cryers...

have fun

Hai guys, Just wondering if there a way to trainf ro this without joining a full team, messing up, and feeling bad. And its hard to find a group that lets you come when they find out that you're inexped xDD

Is it possible to try to solo it yourself, or with a 'teaching' sin for tera 1? I've got the shadfowform build down, but not the run for FOW lol =[

Thanks very much =o[[User:Bob] 11:50, 9 April 2009(UTC)

For t1, you can do both the book quest and the burning forest quest without a team, just enter fow in hm, knock up a conset and go. You can't practise the third quest, but all you do is standing around killing with sliver - nothing tricky about it. For t2, you need the mainteam to take both your quests so you can't really practise that - just make sure you are with somebody good that can cover for you if you fail. Andy 14:50, 9 April 2009 (UTC)
You and others say go with an experienced person, but.. Does that mean take one less monk and another terra 1, or what? :S! Please explain that ^_^ [[User:Bob] 16:50, 9 April 2009(UTC)
What he is saying is make sure your t2 (or t1, depending on what you are not), is experienced so that if you die, the other terra can cover for you. LifeWikiLOD7 15:54, 9 April 2009 (UTC)
Mhmm, okay thanks. How do you know people have asked new questions :S! Is there a well known guild that allows beginners to participate?
And must i use all three conset items at once? -- Bob
Not that I know of. Your best bet would be to get a friend to show you it(you die and watch) and then try it solo. Then go pug until you get it right. For t1, you do need all 3. You could probably ge by with just essence for t2, but a full set helps. LifeWikiLOD7 16:07, 9 April 2009 (UTC)
So.... Ya up for it ? ^_^ Want to come along and show me what to do, i'll ofc bring the consets =\ I followed a video and it does a lot more than waht the picture displays on this wiki article :S

Don't know of any, but if needed I can make one. People are only interested in shards and obsidian edges. Andy 22:06, 9 April 2009 (UTC)

Can do it, and does it well. Don't remove the build. 10:49, 10 May 2009 (UTC)

Lots of builds "work" but PvX always chooses (or should always choose) the optimum build to avoid an endless ream of mediocre variants on every team build (e.g. dervish cryer). Since the ele build is inferior in both damage and cast-speed compared to the mes/monk builds, there's no reason for it to be there. Athrun Feya 12:41, 10 May 2009 (UTC)
Yes, there is. It's about time people started realizing that other professions can do stuff. Leave it there. 19:01, 10 May 2009 (UTC)
Zzz, no. Your edits will now be breaking 1RV. LifeWikiLOD7 19:02, 10 May 2009 (UTC)
Goddamn it. I bloody well hate that policy. That build should stay up there. It's not good, fair, nor in the gaming spirit for classes that CAN do it not being able to. If the build stays up, perhaps eles will stay in the meta? I can think of several people that would be happy indeed if that were the case 08:38, 17 May 2009 (UTC)
Did you read what I even put? we list the optimum builds only to avoid a myriad of lesser builds on every page. As soon as we add a sub-par ele build, someone will be asking for a FoC necro,or a dervish cryer,so this is why it must be left as it is. Athrun Feya 12:09, 17 May 2009 (UTC)
You're also welcome to make your own version of this build on your userspace and -then- try and convince people it is better, instead of just changing an already fine-tuned build. Remember that just because it can be done, doesn't mean it should. And just because pugs use a build, doesn't make it better - these builds are slightly edited version of the builds belonging to those who held the previous fowsc record. Athrun Feya 16:31, 17 May 2009 (UTC)

build improvement

funny how when i read the ele section you say that you want to keep only the best build ...

then why when people put update to this build that is completly outdated and no very well concepted anyway you delete them ....?

this build is completly to redo... it has been done before the SF nerf and before 100 blade buff... and have had some realy small update but not the most important ones...

way to be more focus on the autorithy than the efficiency...

well ...let hope someone is patient enough to remake one ... advice to beginner ...dont folow this as a bible ;)

You really should sign, and discuss major changes to a vetted build so you don't get whoru'd. It'd also helps people understand why it's an improvement or not if it's discussed first. Toraen talk 23:32, 17 May 2009 (UTC)
Are you on something? This build, exactly how it is, can get 16 minutes if not better. Tell me how your shitty ele and other bad contributions are somehow making that better? LifeWikiLOD7 05:38, 18 May 2009 (UTC)

This isn't what the majority of teams run on FOWSC. Regardless of what some guilds may or may not run if you want to follow the PvE meta this build needs adjustment. Selket Shadowdancer 12:02, 1 June 2009 (UTC)

Is 'meta' the stuff every PuG and his dog runs, or slightly more refined builds run by guild teams who get consistently decent times. I raised this else where but no-one seems to know. Anyway, it does mention about 4 RoJ under that part. athrunfeyaUser Athrun Feya sig imagespeaks 10:55, 5 June 2009 (UTC)
I'd say both to be honest. When you go into ToA and see a specific build being run by a majority its obviously the most popular and favoured for PuGs. I couldnt see a PuG co-ordinating a build like this, though it is good for guild runs. Good groups can do pretty quick times with RoJ Cryers. Perhaps make a different article for the PuG ROJ version? As I've seen alot of Permas run A/E Grasping Earth builds alot lately too which are more reliable if a Terra fails as they normally pack Sliver too. Selket Shadowdancer 11:22, 5 June 2009 (UTC)
Like i said, depends if we want keep optimum builds, pug friendly builds, or both. Most other elites have the same kind of issues. athrunfeyaUser Athrun Feya sig imagespeaks 12:01, 5 June 2009 (UTC)
