FOIN. Rikk Panda {a.k.a. Benny Lava} They're On Fire Panda 03:41, July 9, 2010 (UTC)

Great for zquests, champ points, tourny points, double weekends, and any other miscellaneous lolery. Also: any suggestions are welcome; this what I can grab from obs Rikk Panda {a.k.a. Benny Lava} They're On Fire Panda 03:41, July 9, 2010 (UTC)

I understand this is just from obs but wouldn't overload be a better choice than wastrel's? Both have the same unconditional damage but overload seems to have a better payoff if conditions are met. 66.66.172.108 19:51, July 14, 2010 (UTC)

Yeah it would work, it just adds 4 more seconds in between spikes Rikk Panda {a.k.a. Benny Lava} They're On Fire Panda 21:18, July 14, 2010 (UTC)

Testing...

Ok so apparently someone randomly put this into testing... there's still some variants that can be stuck in here. For instance you can drop 2 of the Me/Mo for

  • Me/E
Spiritual Pain Wastrel's Demise Unnatural Signet Glyph of Lesser Energy Crippling Anguish Kitah's Burden Ethereal Burden Resurrection Signet
  • Me/Rt
Spiritual Pain Wastrel's Demise Unnatural Signet Echo Arcane Larceny Arcane Thievery Shame Resurrection Signet

and of course you have to switch around skills if you take that route. Furthermore, you can drop the Me/E (or a Me/Mo) and run 2 Me/A, again needing skill adjustment. This is just a template though, and you can switch up the mesmers' skills (interrupts, etc.) Rikk Panda {a.k.a. Benny Lava} They're On Fire Panda 01:57, July 15, 2010 (UTC)

Tbh

Take away the WoH Mes and put in something more useful, like another LoD for more anti-spike or maybe a Rupter. I believe the healers can cover the healing.--Syncretic 15:19, July 16, 2010 (UTC)

1)a 3rd LoD would be less anti-spike, and more anti-pressure. 2) easier said than done; healing a team of 8 squishies is harder to do than you would think Rikk Panda 16:28, July 16, 2010 (UTC)
sorry, meant pressure. and you're probably right.--Syncretic 16:32, July 16, 2010 (UTC)

Meta?

[ViP] and [cFs] have been wreaking a bit of havok with both variations. eh? 72.148.243.147 23:25, July 18, 2010 (UTC)

I played vs this team and 3/6 Mesmers died to knights. -Extreme Zer0 18:11, July 19, 2010 (UTC)
That reason holds no merit because it's based on player skill. And yeah, [ViP] alone went from r80's to r30's running only this spike because it works. plain and simple Rikk Panda {a.k.a. Benny Lava} They're On Fire Panda 01:10, July 20, 2010 (UTC)
Going from rank 80 to rank 30 is an almost impossible feat. --Crow 02:41, July 20, 2010 (UTC)
Never said it was hard, I just said it happened with this and variations of this build. Rikk Panda {a.k.a. Benny Lava} They're On Fire Panda 09:06, July 20, 2010 (UTC)
My point was going from rank 80 to 30 doesn't require a brilliant build. --Crow 14:31, July 20, 2010 (UTC)
You're absolutely correct. It doesn't. And this isn't a brilliant build. There's nothing brilliant about a 3-2-1 1->2 spike, but then again I guess that's why it's so capable. Rikk Panda {a.k.a. Benny Lava} They're On Fire Panda 22:53, July 20, 2010 (UTC)

Mind Wrack?

Why don't one of the spikers spike with mind wrack? the target will already be hexed and as long as it gets put up a little before the other spikers thats an extra ~140 damage or so.75.80.128.65 19:24, July 19, 2010 (UTC)

It works only for YOUR mesmer skills, so it's only ~25 more dmg --GothicNeko 16:59, July 20, 2010 (UTC)
