Clean up?

A lot of builds on the wiki have gone to hell. Strong Like Bearway? What the fuck. Is it a good build? yes. Is the joking appropriate? no. Make it serious. Put some REAL usage and REAL name and REAL variants. You might say that the build is straightforward and doesn't need all that, but still. Build articles are kept to a standard in the aspect of how good the build is. They should ALSO be kept up to a standard of content. I understand its funny and whatnot, but articles like this one should be fixed up. I'm not singling out THIS build. There are plenty of build with no usage and poor content. Pros do not use this site. Its only noobs and people who wish they were pro. Noobs will not understand wtf is going on with a lot of this. I agree, this is uber DPS way, and it's for HA not Gvg. One extra KD will not save the world here.

General hints about the build

A lot of people are saying, oh there's no hints how to run this.

Or...oh this needs moar snares.

Alright, here's the deal, yes the build lacks a little bit of hints in the main page. But the fact of the matter is it's all about being a good warrior. It's hard to sit here and type to people, bull's strike people from the rear, get ur evisc off while moving towards the front of the character to body block + finish off spike. Get more crits lalala.

The build holds up just fine on any map. Underworld, fetid, burial, pretty straight forward.

Relic runs just kill them. seriously, you should be able to whipe monks with channeling with magehunters if they are wasting their auras on runners. Most teams will only be able to run one relic if they whipe. if u absolutely need snares cause ur having trouble, switch out the memo for a rit with soh, put warding on rit, swap the e to e/p with make haste song no res and bring more reliable snares on your ranger.

cap points is simple, u have hard targets around the entire map, just let them split hard and kill things....golden is easy again, courtyard is just who can maintain on map, backline etc...antechamber more splitting...hoh is splitting on cap points, holding is holding, and relic runs u have same problems as other relic runs but u have to pressure from start, not wait until end where ur probably gonan get ganked.

if u need explanation on how to warrior this is not the place to look.

the fact is people overlook the dps of this build. the axe warrior is hitting for 90+ on crits vs 60 armor targets. at 16 axe ur crit % is so high it's almost like ur spiking without having to use ur adren skills. ur magehunter can keep a monk down long enuff if he quarterlocks for ur axe warrior to wreck. the sword warrior adds a lil backlining power if you need it while still pressuring out an RC with crippleslash. interrupts and pressure comes from ur ranger while ur fire ele puts high dps on them so they can't stand still and hit u. if they keeep kiting they aren't attacking giving you those few precious seconds to kill. it also forces movement for lots of bulls strikes as well as spirit hunting so ur monks don't explode. the memo is for extra KDz but is probably the most changeable bar in the build.

but like i said, if you don't have good wars no trip war build is gonna work. ur whole utility comes from them being strong, ie why this build was called strong like bear. they have to kno how to cancel frenzy while still knowing how to tank. if they can't take dmg ur going no where with this build.

it's got potential to hold but unlike many other gimmicky builds i see on pvxwiki, this one takes a little bit more skill, just like DF frontal warriors. pretty much chizu and champ led the team.

On another note, since it's mostly new players on PvXwiki, I think it's fair to say that a good warrior can get pretty far in HA no matter what rank they are. Good callers are few and far between, most people just hit C+space then control click the name. If you learn how to not be that guy you'll be good. -05:38, 25 June 2008 (EDT)
