Executioner's > Critical imo. Or you could just run a Shock Axe with Conjure Lightning (they can do the damge and interrupting you want). Any good player will have a +AL shield vs. every elemental type, so the conjure spell doesn't matter all that much. - Kowal Krowman {{sysop}} 19:52, 3 July 2007 (CEST)

You can go ahead and do Shock Axe with a Conjure, but that means that you either lose Bull's, have 2 Axe attacks, or have no Rez (which is a no-no). I'll take that Executioner's Strike suggestion into consideration, but I like the double half-second spike. LavaEdge324 19:56, 3 July 2007 (CEST)
Usually people run with 2 axe attacks (wth is my spellchecher say 'axe' is spelled wrong?). The extra damage from the Conjure spell, and the increased Shock damage + armor pentration, make up for it. I run this on my Shock Axe: - Kowal Krowman {{sysop}} 20:07, 3 July 2007 (CEST)

Ok, I'm assuming I should make this a Shock Axe with 2 axe attacks. >_< LavaEdge324 12:14, 4 July 2007 (CEST)

I'd drop bull strike for executioner. You already have a tool for KD-interrupts-movement control in shock. Yeah it's way less spammable and whatever, but you dont go around spamming bull strike anyway. --Jim Eno 21:29, 5 July 2007 (CEST)

Exaustion + Attempt to maintain a 10 point spell on a warrior? Anyone else see an issue with this? Shireensysop 23:04, 8 July 2007 (CEST)

I did... I was kind of reluctant to add Shock in for that reason, but I figured that since you wouldn't be spamming it as much, it wouldn't be as bad. Then again, I just realized that Exhaustion takes 30 seconds to wear off. Not good. LavaEdge324 23:17, 8 July 2007 (CEST)
It's pretty much normal stuff to have a 2nd set with a focus or a staff (and the staff is useful for hitting npcs from afar too), switch and cast it. If you cant do that, good luck on learning guild wars. --Jim Eno 02:56, 9 July 2007 (CEST)
Warriors carry wands now? X_X I've been gone for too long... LavaEdge324 19:58, 9 July 2007 (CEST)
It's not always safe to run all the way into the enemy base to kill NPCs. Wands/bows/spears allow the ability to do something useful(kill NPCs and build adrenaline) if your team has wiped the other team but they can't safely push into their base yet. --Edru viransu 21:01, 9 July 2007 (CEST)
Good point. LavaEdge324 14:12, 10 July 2007 (CEST)
Um...that seems pretty worthless. The worst NPC's can do pretty much, is cripple you O.O...un flag or something, don't waste time wanding an NPC to death :/... Readem (talk*pvxcontribs) 20:25, 10 July 2007 (CEST)
Send off your warrior to run a flag when you've wiped the enemy team and you're at their base with them about to res? I'm not quite sure why you would want to run a flag then, at all, much less with one of your warriors. --Edru viransu 20:28, 10 July 2007 (CEST)
If you wiped their team...wait for respawn, and go back to flag and wait for VoD. If it's clean-wipe just kill their NPCs for damn sake. Warrior flaggers happen all the time. No room for reg one, so why the hell not :P. Readem (talk*pvxcontribs) 21:52, 10 July 2007 (CEST)
I'm not really sure if you are joking or if you are serious. There are like 200 good reasons to wand npcs from outside the base and have a staff as a warrior, first of all 2 less archers for them at VOD, second you're not wanding them to death, you have casters and rangers, but wanding with a warrior is 1) more damage overall 2) adrenaline building, third your guild thief may not be present. And by the way, if you wiped them you can't really rush into the base unless they're newbies or things like that. The added pressure from archers-knight-maybe bodyguard can really help the other team counter-wipe you. And all of these situations are WITHOUT going in deep in possible scenarios. --Jim Eno 00:40, 11 July 2007 (CEST)
I have never brought, nor used a staff/wand in GvG on a warrior (AoM sure, energy reasons though) O.o. It is just not needed imo. If you are waiting for the res, just fall back a tad, wait for moral (your team obviously is controlling flag-stand) and you can fucking rush em. With a moral/dp advantage, your team should be able to gank most, if not all their NPC's. If not, your team needs some serious work :/. Also, if you don't have anyone able to gank some, while you are hashing it out at flag-stand, plx find new guild. Readem (talk*pvxcontribs) 03:43, 11 July 2007 (CEST)
You may need some time to gank npcs, and maybe rez is in 8-10 secs or things like that. Then you'd better wanding outside archers than friggin' rush in the base or waiting at the stand achieving nothing but being without adren and the enemy having 2+ archers. And you're not counting in the ENEMY skill, maybe they're good players that can use a bit of help from npcs (think like a spike build that now has added pressure), maybe their monks are not idiots and actually heal npcs, stuff like that. I will always bring my staff in gvg, specially with this meta made of conjures you dont need 4 weap slots as you should only use two weapons; elemental+sund-vamp-of choice in case a mesmer shatters you. So having a staff is basically a win-win situation and dont forget staff bonuses for switching and casting conjures (+1 attr, 20% ench, 20% recharge, what you want). I cant be more clear than this. anyway, let me speak some ancient words of wisdom: "De gustibus non disputandum est" --Jim Eno 03:56, 11 July 2007 (CEST)

I'm too flippin' confused now, I'm taking the Spear off until a general agreement is found. LavaEdge324 03:26, 11 July 2007 (CEST)

Put in the Furious spear. It is used pretty much exclusively to charge adrenaline from a distance. You can't get a Furious wand, so this is what people equip. They don't use it to wand/spear/bow NPCs, it is for adrenaline gain from a distance. - Kowal Krowman {{sysop}} 04:56, 11 July 2007 (CEST)

I say get rid of it, energy gets tight with a 10e enchantment, frenzy, and no zealous. Tycn 15:49, 11 July 2007 (CEST)

I have tested a simular build in ha a while ago with 3 of this warriors and a snare ele just for fun. However i used Protectors strike instead of critshop because of it's short activition time/cooldown. It worked ok but wasen't that good really, it needs a shadowstep for surprising spiking, but a good SoD monk or aegis can destroy this build easy if you don't got enchantment removal Fish 13:06, 18 July 2007 (CEST)
