:Okay, with the temporary update, it is now much smarter to use Charge in the build, not only for the speed but for the fact that hex breaker is again a stance for 2 weeks. 1st build in a while. I think its a great improvement to the old drok's runner.--AESTHETIC

I think "I Am Unstoppable!" combined with Soldier's Speed is a great addition to the original Bold Forge runner build. I am not sold on the Signet of Removal however. Since Holy Veil is really the only enchantment, and since it usually will be shattered by the Avicara when running though the Worm tunnel at the beginning of Lornar's Pass, this signet won't function unless Holy Veil is put up again. Sometimes this is difficult to do since aggro from the Avicara may not have been broken before exiting the tunnel and encountering the Ice Golems.ImperialMike 15:42, 4 January 2008 (EST)
I also think additional KD protection is needed beyond simply "I Am Unstoppable!". I would still include Balanced Stance with Charge for safety.

I think I prefer a build similar to this:

Could you possibly use Divert Hexes instead of SoR? with alittle investment in prot you can get rid of more than one hex/condition. and if you were to do that use Purifying Veil instead of Holy Veil? Quackerz0 14:48, 4 January 2008 (EST)

The advantage of Holy Veil is the doubling of the hex cast time, not just the hex removal aspect of that skill. Usually condition removal/reduction is not as important. I Am Unstoppable! removes and prevents crippled, which is what is generally feared by the runner. Feel No Pain could be used to counter degeneration as well as provide a general healing skill for the running. ImperialMike 15:42, 4 January 2008 (EST)

Essentially you replace Sprint with "I Am The Strongest" and use Soldier's Speed as your only speed buff stance. Doesn't really save you a slot, but does mean less energy is used during the run. ImperialMike 18:05, 4 January 2008 (EST)

Hopefully you'll realize that I Am The Strongest never ends since the runner never attacks. This shout has no duration and thus lasts the entire time the runner is in the zone and doesn't attack. ImperialMike 21:30, 4 January 2008 (EST)

Need for Tactics attribute?

Is the Tactics attribute needed if we use Enraging Charge and Sprint instead of Solder's Speed? If the runner can get by with I Am Unstoppable as the only KD defense and does not need Balanced Stance, then Tactics skills could potentially be eliminated, freeing those attribute points for Protection or Healing attributes from the Monk profession.ImperialMike 16:23, 4 January 2008 (EST)

Signet of Removal

Testing the build with Signet of Removal, I ran into some difficulties. The main problem was Rust. Coming out of the Worm tunnel the Ice Golems put both Rust then Deep Freeze on me. Trying to use Signet of Removal with Rust on makes this skill extremely slow to get off. In addition, once Holy Veil is shattered or used, Signet of Removal is useless. I actually had an easier time of it using Remove Hex instead. I ran with no Elite skill, and included Feel No Pain in the Optional Slot. So far, I'd vote to replace Signet of Removal with a different hex countering skill. ImperialMike 23:53, 4 January 2008 (EST)

Defy Pain is an adrenaline based elite skill. I doubt that a runner will build up enough adrenaline to make this skill a good choice! I think people need to think out of the box a little bit and consider that NO elite isn't necessarily a bad thing. ImperialMike 21:57, 7 January 2008 (EST)

Balanced Stance

Note: Due to recent updates "Hex Breaker" is no longer a stance which makes this build even more useful by virtue of being able to keep up "Soldier's Speed and "Hex Breaker" at the same time.

for the optional slot you might consider dwarven stabability from the derlver title track,it increases the legth of stances hence you end up having a 25% run 100% of the time

How to completely betterify this

first off, warriors have plenty of speed boosts. Soldier's speed = phail. 25% speed boosts are slow enough already, but one that can't even be maintained isn't worth it.
