I dont see this as a good build for GvG. Bleeding will be taken off enemies before you can even use Gash. Um, so Cripple slash etc isnt meta for a reason i see?Rawrawr Dinosaur 12:30, 20 July 2007 (CEST)

Ew. Why do we have another charge sword? — Rapta Rapta Icon1 (talk|contribs) 17:37, 12 July 2007 (CEST)

Because Charge is useful, and the other Charge sword build was really really bad(by which I mean it had no cancel for frenzy(by which I mean it was the Charge sword iQ ran back in GWFC)). --Edru viransu 21:15, 12 July 2007 (CEST)
Update that one. — Rapta Rapta Icon1 (talk|contribs) 21:49, 12 July 2007 (CEST)
They won't let me, because it's archived(one of the reasons was lack of cancel stance for frenzy, as well). :/ --Edru viransu 21:52, 12 July 2007 (CEST)
Ew. Alright, carry on. =P — Rapta Rapta Icon1 (talk|contribs) 22:05, 12 July 2007 (CEST)

Dang, we do need one of these vetted. Count on my vote. You could do an Axe variant as well. (Executioner's Strike, Dismember, Agonizing Chop). - Kowal Krowman {{sysop}} 22:12, 12 July 2007 (CEST)

I added an axe variant. Should I move this to Build:W/any Charge Warrior or something like that and have both the axe and sword builds in the main attributes and skills section or just keep it as Charge Sword with an axe variant? --Edru viransu 22:20, 12 July 2007 (CEST)
There were never really any Axe Charge wars, so I'd leave that out altogether, especially with so many better axe builds out there. Plus, most would want the elite Attack. — Rapta Rapta Icon1 (talk|contribs) 22:27, 12 July 2007 (CEST)
Well, Axes have historically had pretty weak non-elite attacks. In the past, you couldn't put together a strong non-elite-reliant axe bar. You'd have exec, dismember, and maybe axe rake or penetrating blow. Now, dismember-exec-agonizing provides a fairly strong spike that doesn't require an elite, which is the main reason the sever-gash-final was ran with so many random utility elites on sword warriors(other than of course not having any good sword elites until Factions). --Edru viransu 22:30, 12 July 2007 (CEST)

So, keep the axe variant or get rid of it? --Edru viransu 07:24, 14 July 2007 (CEST)

I'd keep. Interrupts > Bleeding imo. This could be a personal bias; I always run axes everywhere, as they out-damage swords at lvl 11(?) mastery and up. The only time you would want swords would be to take advantage of a swordsmanship elite. - Kowal Krowman {{sysop}} 07:40, 14 July 2007 (CEST)
Should this be moved to Build:W/any_Charge_Warrior, in that case? --Edru viransu 07:43, 14 July 2007 (CEST)

I rewrote most of the article to adjust to it now being two somewhat different builds. How is it? --Edru viransu 07:55, 14 July 2007 (CEST)

Anyone have any suggestions about any variants to add or anything to change? --Edru viransu 07:21, 15 July 2007 (CEST)

crit chop for exec on the axe works good. - Skakid9090 07:23, 15 July 2007 (CEST)
This should really be split up, imo. Since it's a clear two-builds-on-one page there's no harm or difficulty to split them into two build page. Just a matter of Copying and Pasting the info. — Rapta Rapta Icon1 (talk|contribs) 20:46, 17 July 2007 (CEST)

Just out of personal interest, can anyone tell me why Final Thrust is replaced by Sun and Moon on this as opposed to the original sword utility builds? I stopped running sword utility in the proph era, but I thought that Final Thrust still provides a more powerful spike, albeit with the loss of adrenaline. --Kaelor 14:57 20 July 2007

In a nutshell, FT = spike, S&MS = pressure. Less damage, but unblockable, and it allows yopu to repeat your attack chain more often. - Kowal Krowman {{sysop}} 22:00, 20 July 2007 (CEST)
In addition, S&MS = more bleeding and deepwound. --Edru viransu//QQ about me 22:02, 20 July 2007 (CEST)
Are you sure you're not thinking of the Assassin skill, Twisting Fangs? Sun and Moon Slash only does 2 unblockable attacks. --BeeD 05:04, 24 July 2007 (CEST)
