This build has been designed for the following use:

PvE
farming

This is a Ranger build meant to EASILY farm the fissure of woe forest using incendiary arrows.

Optionals

You might want to bring more interupts, or double/triple shot.

Equipment

Armor

Bring maximum armor with earthbound insignias, the best vigor rune you can afford, minor wilderness survival, minor expertise, and minor marksmanship.

Weapons

A sundering shortbow will be best. You will take no damage from the shepards (you take all earth damage and have major armor against earth, and they will use iron mist so being in their spell range is fine)

Usage

Keep up your earth enchantments and storm chaser for energy when killing things. Also maintain kindle arrows to turn your damage to fire and to deal alot of extra damage. Spam incendiary arrows, your energy will allow it. In order to run to the forest, try to find a chest running group. Interupt spirit wood's troll unguent with savage shot or a different interupt if you brought it.

Counters

Not keeping up earth protections will mean that you take too much damage.

None that i can think of except for switchign savage shot for wither disrupting shot or distracting shot.
