This build has been designed for the following use:

This is a 330hp Ritualist that uses Vengeful Was Khanhei, Retribution, Reversal of Damage, and Vengeful Weapon for high armor ignoring damage spikes to all attacking enemies. Can be used to farm just about anything in Hard Mode, including the Underworld. Just about as fast as you can get for Invinci farming. Equipment

Armor:

  • Any full set of 15 AL(lowest possible) in Shing Jea Monastery. You can also use starter armor that is 5 AL for each piece. Lower the AL, the Better. One thing about using Starter armor is that the headpiece does not give you +1 towards your Mastery, so you will only end up with 15 Restoration with Superior Restoration Rune. Weapon (options):

  • Any max inscribable staff (any mastery) with 20% HSR, a 10% HCT "Swift" staff head, with +15 energy/-1 energy "Seize the Day" inscription and a 20% longer enchantments wrap.
  • A one-handed weapon with +5 energy and 20% longer enchantments, with any offhand for energy.
  • Or, a Shamanic Restoration Wand with 20% HSR (of Memory) and +15 energy ("Seize The Day"), paired with an inscribable Restoration offhand with 20% HSR ("Forget Me Not") inscription and 10% HCT (Swiftness) core mod. Recommended.

Usage

  • Upon entering farming area, cast Balthazar's Spirit, Essence Bond, and Retribution. Cast them one by one and let energy gain full before casting one other.
  • Cast Protective Spirit before approaching enemies.
  • Cast Spirit Bond before you take any hits from enemies.
  • As soon as all enemies are attacking, cast Vengeful Was Khanei.
  • While holding VwK, spam Vengeful Weapon and Reversal of Damage as much as possible.
  • While using VwK, you shouldn't need to use Spirit Bond unless you are still taking damage that is lowering your health.
  • Always cast Spirit Bond when VwK is about to end, and keep it up until VwK is recharged and ready to be used.
  • Do not spam Vengeful Weapon and Reversal of Damage if you're low on energy.
  • Keep Protective Spirit up at all times.
  • Repeat all steps until enemies are dead.
  • Use Spirit Bond with VwK if you are still taking damage from spells.

Counters

  • Enchantment stripping, interruptions on key skills, knockdowns.
  • Too many enemies attacking can cause Spirit Bond to run out within seconds leaving you no time to recast.

Variants

  • Vengeful Weapon and Reversal of Damage are the best choice for most situation, but they are optional and can be replaced depending on your farming situation.

Alternatives

Rt/Mo 105hp VwK - Farming HM Builds (330hp Alternative). - This is a 105hp build that is very similar, but without the use of Spirit Bond and Smiting skills. It can be alot safer by using Shield of Absorption and Shielding Hands to reduce all damage while VwK is not in use. If you are having too much difficulty with 330hp, give these builds a try.

Mo/Rt 600hp Vengeful Spirit Bonder (Monk Alternative): This is a build for monk with same concept of 330hp. This build makes use of Retribution by using 600hp for higher damage to make up difference by only having 12 points in Restoration. It will do the exact same damage output from VwK and Retribution as 330hp does (47 dmg to be exact). It still works pretty fast for farming all the same areas as 330hp. Give it a try if you don't have a Ritualist, or if you don't have many areas accessible as your Monk might have.

Notes

  • There is no longer a Spirit Bond bug. It is now fixed! The 10 hits counter will reset everytime the enchantment is refreshed.
  • The reason behind casting the maintained enchantments Retribution, Essence Bond and Balthazar's Spirit with a full energy bar in between is that it only takes 53 seconds before you're ready to go, as opposed to casting them sequentially with no wait for recharge (only 1 energy recharge) which takes 1:17 before the energy is full again.
  • You can take off one or two armor peices if you need to lower your armor to help trigger Spirit Bond from some enemies that inflict less damage than needed. The only two peices that are safe to take off is the chest and hand armors. Just make sure you don't take off the ones that contribute to your 330hp.
  • Using a Superior Spawning rune, and having 5 attribute points in Spawning will give you 10% longer duration for all your Weapon Spells.
  • The Build can be a bit difficult to catch on for people that don't have previous experience using Spirit Bond. Once you figure out how it works, you should have no problems using it.

  • The damage from retribution maxes out at 5, so you might concider lowering it a bit to boost protection prayers.
