My first build, rate and comment please. Shadow Form Slayer 15:42, 29 April 2010

Btw, edit if you must. I'd like to improve this too. Shadow Form Slayer 15:47, 29 April 2010
I'll continue tomorrow. I must go now, I'm back later with new updates. Shadow Form Slayer

Definitely a good, generic way to farm, but I dont think that boss farming is a good farm with it since you split the greens and tomes (if in HM) with the hero. --- Ressmonkey (talk) 19:36, April 29, 2010 (UTC)

Aaah, okay. I'm testing on elite areas etc. I'm really trying to get this in a general farming way. It goes well with groups like the jade/kirin/insects. But those are too general. Shadow Form Slayer
scythes work better than daggers for farming most areas since db spam can't outdo it unless there's quite a mob--Relyk talk 03:55, April 30, 2010 (UTC)

We have several similar builds already[1][2][3][4]. The difference here obviously is the bonder (Similar to old Commando/smiter which i cant find anymore). Should we wrap all these builds together and list areas where you need the bonder seperately?(well.. almost anywhere in hardmode i suppose) Scythe with strength and honor or aura of the holy might if running without bonder would probably be the most optimal variant. Forgot to mention [5], i like the idea of sand shards coupled with EBSoH. Should probably be added to variants as well. T u u k k a 06:24, April 30, 2010 (UTC)

With all these builds, yes, maybe I am a bit late with posting one. I can say, which is true, I use this build since the "nerf". But that doesn't mean anything to you, I know. But, to be honest, don't you think that this could get to an all-round use? Shadow Form Slayer 06:46, April 30, 2010 (UTC)

It's probably a good build. Imo in general farming builds it boils to this: It's probably not faster than protective spirit based farm builds(especially 330hp rit) AND it requires a hero. So the only way for it to compete is to be able to farm places these builds can't go. This generally means places with enchantment removal / interrupts / knockdowns / heavy healing. So instead of trying to compete as "general farming build", i'd suggest testing if you can run dungeons, UW, FoW, ToPK or DoA and then specializing the build to these areas. Thoughts? Good idea, care to help? Shadow Form Slayer 07:12, April 30, 2010 (UTC)

Sure, i'll try whether i can run some dungeons in HM with this and post results. Read this btw: indent T u u k k a 07:17, April 30, 2010 (UTC)
I know :P. But I'll try it too of course. I am trying to get my first build up to the top haha Shadow Form Slayer 07:48, April 30, 2010 (UTC)

Not much success. Just too slow for HM. Tried CoF HM and it takes around 5 minutes to kill the first mob. :P T u u k k a 15:23, April 30, 2010 (UTC)

That's a big pity. It is certainly focusing on a small group. I mean, with one person you do need to kill. Look at Darkrime Delves, it is easy enough. Look at others, and you get a handful of problems, since it is just too hard to go through without damage reduction. The Bonder has to be there, unless you can run through good enough and have save spots to stop, and a save spot for your bonder. I will go on with focusing on putting the 600 back up to line, after the nerfs. I think Anet must keep their friends to keep on producing. Farming is not the life of Guild Wars, only for a handful of no-life people. Running is for fun and to help others who can't do it. I always create builds for fun, just to run through dungeons without too much difficulties. I like my build if this gets rated bad. At least I tried it for the first time. Shadow Form Slayer 15:48, April 30, 2010 (UTC)
This really does very little damage. If the group has one healer than it can't really kill anything. For most boss farms Shadowform and Silver Armor can do the same thing but faster. I can't really think of places where Shadowform + Silver armor or SoS + PI can't do it faster. Like for the boss in the vid, SoS + PI and that boss is dead in 2 seconds from Unsteady Ground. What about adding Rad field and changing to A/Mes, and try making it a degen build, might speed up kills. --Saifon 19:49, May 4, 2010 (UTC)

Well in HM if there's a monk in the group you're trying to farm they're probly gonna be able to our-heal your degen. S F I R 20:12, June 25, 2010 (UTC)

Nolani

If anybody even cares about this build anymore, since i've seen no modifications at all for at least a month or two, you can farm elite tomes for each core profession at the nolani academy mission in prophecies with this build. Just enter and resign until you find the desired boss, cast bonds, open the gate. Hurry and run down before rurik gets aggro. When recasting SF, watch out for the blade warriors! They can remove deadly paradox with wild blow, so try to use it an instant before casting SF. I used Insidious Parasite,"Finish Him!", and Critical Agility as my three optionals.
