What is Physway?
Physway collaborates strong protection from Ether Renewal infuse/bonders and physical damage buffs to create a team build that is capable of doing many areas, using both pick-up-groups and experienced players but is primarily designed for the harder dungeons and elite areas.
Build Overview
This section tells what a physway team usually comprises of.
8 Man Areas
4 melee players:
2 support players:
2 ether renewal bonders:
12 Man Areas
Take 6 melee players, 4 support and the two ether renewal bonders.
4 and 6 Man Areas
For four, take one ether renewal bonder, a supporter and two physicals. For six take two ether renewal bonders, a support and the other 3 filled with physicals.
Melee Players
For melee players your general guidance is to rush in to attack any group without mass enchantment removal.
Notable skills
- Frenzy can be taken to increase attack speed, you will suffer no additional damage.
- "Save Yourselves!" can be taken to reduce any damage dealt to your party, especially when the bonds have been removed.
- Any quick activation and quick recharging attack skill, such as Jagged Strike Fox Fangs Mystic Sweep Eremite's Attack and Protector's Strike
- Skills to increase your damage output, such as "By Ural's Hammer!", Asuran Scan or Ebon Battle Standard of Honor.
These are only the most important skills, the rest of your bar is upto you. Since all of your damage will be physical so that orders can be triggered, you may also need to consider stance or blind removal too.
Suitable PvX Builds
- Build:A/any PvE Dagger Spammer with Way of the Assassin.
- Build:W/A Enduring Dagger
- Build:P/A Dagger Spammer
- Build:R/A Dagger Pet Ranger
- Build:D/W Zealous Dervish without Aura of Holy Might so that Orders will trigger (Physical damage).
Support Players
Orders
Using an Orders necromancer will increase your physicals ability to do lots of damage within a very short timeframe.
Blood Bond and well spells such as Well of Blood can heal your frontline too.
Notable skills
- Blood Bond Provides heal around your physicals when target dies.
- Order of Pain or Order of the Vampire
- Strength of Honor
Suitable PvX Builds
Spirit and Minion Masters
Spirits and Minions can divert attention of foes away from your party, and most importantly provide an extra level of protection for your Ether Renewal healers.
Notable skills
- Earthbind Has great synergy with Great Dwarf Weapon to allow physicals to knock down otherwise immune to KD foes.
MoP Spammers
In areas with masses of foes in each group, Mark of Pain can be used to decimate foes.
Notable skills
- Mark of Pain Armor ignoring nuke for physicals.
Suitable PvX Builds
Cleaners
Nearly every area in the game has some sort of anti melee effect produced, such as Faintheartedness, Blurred Vision or Blind, all of which are very counter-productive for a physical team.
Notable skills
- Signet of Removal Since everyone should be bonded with at least one enchantment anyway it almost guarantees removal.
Ether Renewal Bonders
These players will be keeping every packet of damage down to a bare minimum. Via use of Ether Renewal they can spam skills like Infuse Health to keep their energy up to allow maintainance of Protective Bond
Notable skills
- Ether Renewal Abuses enchantments to gain energy when combined with spammable skills.
- Infuse Health Spammable large heal.
- Protective Bond Stop your team being killed.
Suitable PvX Builds
General Usage
- Use Essence of Celerity. Ether Renewal eles should bond 4 players each at the start
- Necro should also cast and maintains Strength of Honor on all physical players.
- Physicals attack whatever they feel like.
Counters
- Heavy Enchant strips (Rend Enchantments, Chilblains or Mirror of Disenchantment).
- Interupts or being knocked down while activating Ether Renewal.
- Energy spikes from Protective Bond and physicals standing in Area of Effect skills.
- ERs not spamming skills fast enough to maintain energy.
