Question

Why does it seem that when you lost your adminship on GuildWiki you got the manners of a 5 year old. And your arrogance has shot through the roof... Also why do you obviously not like readem...--Sneakysmith12 10:36, 5 July 2007 (CEST)

Because my crayons snapped when I threw them on the floor. As for Readem, ask him yourself :D [1]Skuld 10:09, 6 July 2007 (CEST)
It's because I am emo. Can't you tell by my black user page...and those were not your crayons bastard<Could be>! Readem (talk*pvxcontribs) 02:09, 7 July 2007 (CEST)

O he hates me alright ;). Readem (talk*pvxcontribs) 06:48, 6 July 2007 (CEST)

In response to Sneakysmith; his manners reflected those of the average build section user. He was the one of the only people and definitely the only admin that cared about the build section; he took a lot of shit for clearing out life sheath whammos and life transfer necros with swords etc., and after months and months of nonstop flaming, he started giving some back. I laugh when I see people insult Skuld's maturity, because 99% of the time, that person is completely ignorant of the situation of the time. So... do your homework before posting. Thx. -Auron 10:12, 6 July 2007 (CEST)

And yeh, he still doesn't take shit from people, and don't expect him to be politically correct. Some people (read - Gem) can't differentiate between policy violations and not taking shit, and post unnecessary warnings etc; don't be a gem. -Auron 10:19, 6 July 2007 (CEST)
Ok, If your going to be rude about not taking other peoples' thoughts then its best not to say them. You nor Skuld have never actually done anything to harm me, so I thank you for that, but I know for at least Skuld would just crush builds if he found anything he didn't like about it. I understand that he was one of the few if not only admin who cared about the build section, although as history records it self he wasn't the most polite person back then either... I image Skuld being the kinda of person to ignore everyone and just go out on his way and that right there is a very scary though to have as an admin. I'm not ignorant of his situation. I was merely asking him to think about the fact that a wiki no mater which one it is should be being used for two things: Providing information in a detailed manner, and excluding trivial information from it. Now Skuld if you don't understand that maybe its best you keep your thoughts to yourself, and not share them with people. --Sneakysmith12 22:12, 6 July 2007 (CEST)

Language Usage

I KNOW I've seen admins on more than one occasion remove or * (stamp) obsenities and prophanity. I saw it during the sefre conversation and a few others. In this case, the usage of prophanity doesnt even serve a purpose, nore does it even have a propper context, is pointless, and I consider it offensive. It detracts from the site as a comunity for everybody.

"Additionally, editors are strongly discouraged from using profanity in comments to other contributors. These examples are not inclusive. Insulting or disparaging an editor is a personal attack regardless of the manner in which it is done. When in doubt, comment on the article's content without referring to its contributor at all." -[[2]]. It appears I have overstepped my bounds and taken a liberty in regards to a policy that we have, by proxy, adopted. Shireensysop 11:39, 6 July 2007 (CEST)

But I am going to ask polightly. Please refrain from senseless prophanity (Substituted word provided by Readem/Reason:Suggests bad things...). It detracts from the site and makes us seem, less credible. Shireensysop 11:41, 6 July 2007 (CEST)

This page reads like a episode of House (Removed by Readem/Reason:Censorship), the TV series. Skuld is obviously Dr House, Auron is Wilson, Shireen is Cuddy, Readem is Foreman, and Sneakysmith12 is Cameron. I can imagine the plotlines; Shireen thinks Dr Skuld is killing too many builds with sarcasm(Removed by Readem/Reason:Blasphemy) and swear words, Skuld thinks he's not killing them fast enough. Were gonna kill more builds with a strong site procedure than we ever will with prophanity. With the way vetting is done, the abandoned build procedure that is being implimented, and the nice fact that builds must meet formating criteria before comming out of stub, as long as we stay on our toes the build que should never get too bad. Stuff you need

I'm -imaging my gw atm (over 1000m and 46%, gg new laptop), but I notice that you need a 15/-5, 120 iron, 12 chitin, 6 feathers, 5 troll tusks. Can do, may need to dig to find the troll tusks or take five minutes to farm them. Give me time and maybe can do dunshek's as well (although I need to farm one myself since I stole my girlfriend's). It'll be a lot easier if you know any builds that can farm him, preferably derv or monk. IGN = name in signature. -- Armond WarbladeArmond sig image{{sysop}} 01:45, 3 August 2007 (CEST)

I get plenty of iron in cursed lands runs, I don't care about chitin or feathers, troll tusks are like five minutes of my time, I can spare a 15/-5 (probably have another somewhere anyway...) and if I get a dunshek's for free, why should I charge for it? -- Armond WarbladeArmond sig image{{sysop}} 15:46, 3 August 2007 (CEST)

Hi skuld.

I don't know what the policy on pvxwiki for GvG builds is, but should obsolete builds such as Build:W/any_Charge_Sword and bad builds such as Build:P/Mo_Energy_Support_Paragon really be under Category:Great_working_GvG_builds? >.< -Lemming

Get an account, no shame in it (Well, a little but if we can stand it, you can). If you are to contribute anything, being an elitist is not taken too kindly. Consider it at least. Readem (talk*pvxcontribs) 22:49, 5 August 2007 (CEST)

not my site mate — Skuld 16:51, 5 August 2007 (CEST)
I figure that you'd know something about what goes on. :P In the builds section of the old wiki, Category:GvG builds was reserved for proven builds that are demonstrably part of the metagame, and the two examples I mentioned above are neither.
I tried testing the paragon bar, and all I got from the GL was a threat to kick me. ~~ -Lemming
The wiki PvP builds are best used in a smurf or byob - nothing great has originated here, we have some things listed "great" that shouldn't be, and some things that are great and listed otherwise. It's all a mess, but there's no way to "force" good builds through - maybe we should have a non-vote-related category for... real PvP builds? -Auron 11:09, 7 August 2007 (CEST)
