PvXwiki

PvX wiki was intended to be an archive of effective builds used by the community for a specific purpose. When the community trashes a build, whether it was bad or just defeated the purpose of its primary class, It is eventually deleted. New users then, mistakenly post a similar build or concept, that has been repeatedly trashed by the community. This policy is to help prevent the creation of these failed concepts on the wiki over and over again.

The Builds[]

These are builds or general build concepts which the community as a whole has voted down time, and time again. New users, who have not been here when said build types have been voted down, do not know/care about the veteran community's feelings on what makes a build worth saving, and what defines a "gimmick" or build that is copied and is fundamentally not worth using. The concepts in question are normally those defeating the purpose of the class for which they are designed for, thus rendering them inferior. Also these builds attempt to defy basic game mechanics. (EX: A 60 AL Elementalist trying to use a hammer.)

Exception[]

Any build found to be used in the meta game, effectively, that displays any of the properties above shall go through the traditional vetting process.

No Consideration Trashing[]

A build of this type is to be marked with the tag Template:Someone make a tag, im lazy and an administrator will automatically trash as long as the tag is fitting.(Which is determined by whether or not the the build falls under the qualifications of "The List") No user discussion on the builds deletion is required, and a small note should be left on the original authors talk page notifying him/her of their builds deletion as per PvX:TBC. Also any voting on these builds is unnecessary and should be avoided. These special tags are to be added to build articles only. For everything else the traditional trash template will have to suffice.

Tag Removal[]

Removing the PvX:TBC Tag from a build is to be done only at an adiministrator or build master's discression. No user should remove the tag on their own, and should never break PvX:1RV.

Exceptions[]

  • If the tag was put on in an act of obvious vandalization.
  • If the tag was put on a build that obviously is not described on "The List."

Adding to "The List"[]

To add a build type to the list, a user must come up with an official name for it (Ex: Spirit Strength Ritualists.) as well as a short description of the build concept in question. Then the suggestion is to be added it to the the discussion, whereupon the community will vote on its addition to the list.

The List[]

  1. (To be added to)
