Honestly, I don't think this is a policy we NEED to have, however, it could certainly be useful since it provides a core statement about what we retain which can be showed to people if they are unclear on the issue. An example of where this could have been applied would be This where Armond's response pretty much mirrors this policy. It might have been easier if we had a standard response at the time to simply see this policy. Well, can't hurt can it? Thoughts? DE Sig Test 2 *Defiant Elements* +talk 23:05, 14 June 2007 (EDT)

You're right, it's useful, but it doesn't state new rules, so it's not really a policy. Maybe it could be integrated in PvXwiki:About and the Help pages. I'm thinking about some cleanup there anyway. Just waiting for RealVetting to be implemented so the whole Build submission etc. process can be described properly.
About Starter Builds: I think it would be nice to have some, unless we want to explicitly state that we don't care about new players. The fact that nobody asks for them might just mean that none of the active people here are new players, but some of the readers might be. Of course Starter builds should be clearly marked as such, and I think a category tag would be the easiest way to do that technically. Readers don't really care about name spaces and one would like a category for them anyway, so why a new name space? --Hhhippo 03:22, 15 June 2007 (EDT)
We care about new players? Where the hell have I been :P? Readem (talk*pvxcontribs) 16:26, 17 June 2007 (EDT)
Hmmm... well, let's see what I can address. As to this being a Policy, I would actually prefer it as such. There's precedence for it, for example GuildWiki has one, and, it provides a firmer statement than simply implementing it is part of a Help page. As to Starter Builds, if we want to add a category, we can amend this policy, until then, it is a true statement of our policy. DE Sig Test 2 *Defiant Elements* +talk 06:48, 16 June 2007 (EDT)

As per the link above, do I really need to say my position on this policy? -- Armond WarbladeArmond sig image{{sysop}} 15:56, 17 June 2007 (EDT)
