We are all Avatars of Grenth, in death and to those who are soon to join the dead

Hi there! Welcome to my PvXwiki homepage, and PvXwiki is the only website on which I have an account of anything so far. No Facebook, no Twitter, no MySpace (but who uses that anymore). I'm a HUGE Necromancer player, and I don't know if you can tell by looking at a picture before reading this, but my main goal here is to help the Necromancer's and their potential protrude out more than their current standard meta-game form.

With absolutely on idea why, my mind automatically wanted to make a Necromancer as my first character, which it did. Ever since, I have been happy with it despite constant fixes and degradations of the Necromancer class while having to see other classes become almost insurmountable. Looking through several builds here on PvXwiki both in the PvE section as well as the PvP section there are various Necromancer roles that can be improved, or Necromancer roles that can improve other roles to make runs faster, and victories easier.

Giving a little information about me, I have played Guild Wars since the beginning, and will admit some of my information above is wrong. I created a Warrior because I thought the Character-making screen meant you had to make a Warrior before you could move on to the next few classes, although this was evidently not the case as I found out. My Warrior is my oldest character, and I didn't beat the game with him until Factions came out because of how bored I was which is around the same time after some raging I found out you could get a character by selecting him in the Character-making screen. This is when I chose to make a Factions Necromancer because Pre-Searing was deplorable and none of the Necromancers in Prophecices looked good. Now, my Necromancer is sexy! He kind of looks like Edward Cullen from Twilight but with a different hairstyle - yes, that type of sexy.

As previously stated, I hope to add to the PvXwiki, mainly the Necromancer section but through several years of PvP I am able to contribute to other classes and many different roles in the game. I also am still attempting to get certain things for my self-interest and am doing a lot of PvE as well to farm for the Voltaic Spear that I require left. I got a lucky Black Dye drop so I don't have to worry about that, and that Black Dye is specifically reserved for my Voltaic Spear. Luckily I have my Chaos Gloves, Glacial Gloves of which many of the Glacial Stones were generously donated and also my standard gloves that match my armor. I still have Minipets I desire to collect as well, and some require either high amounts of skill, or high amounts of Globs of Ectoplasms which we seem to be trading like Gold (standard).

Necromanticism Edit

Necromanticism (or the Necromantic Era) was a complex artistic, literary, and most importantly, an intellectual movement that originated in the second half of the 17th B.C. century in Europe, and gained strength in reaction to the Living.

The movement validated strong emotion as an authentic source of aesthetic experience, placing new emphasis on such emotions as trepidation, horror and terror and awe—especially that which is experienced in confronting the sublimity of untamed Death and its subsidiary qualities. It is an ancient custom to something humble, which made corpses into a desirable character, and argued for a "Deathly" epistemology of human inactivities as conditioned by nature in the form of language and customary usage.

Romanticism reached beyond the irrational and living idealic models to resurrect a dead army along with elements perceived to be authentically horrifying, in an attempt to escape the confines of population growth. Necromanticism also attempted to embrace the exotic, unfamiliar, and distant in modes more authentic than Life, harnessing the power of the imagination to envision and to escape.

The modern sense of a Necromantic character may be expressed in ideals of a gifted, perhaps misunderstood loner, creatively following the dictates of his inspiration rather than the mores of Life.
