Midliners

Never, ever run snare mezzes if your team sucks balls at kiting, especially your monks. Run a bsurge blindbot.

Bsurge requires your team to kite better. Ups. Cute McMonkeyTab 16:10, 1 February 2009 (EST)
Not really, if you snare wars, it's no use if your team don't kite them. Whereas, you can simply stand on the same spot pretending the warrior trying to land a hit on you doesn't exist since your bsurge is just basically perma-blinding. I was snare mezzing for this monk duo, and said monk duo was standing on the same spot for like, 3 minutes, and I was screaming at them to kite out of the frontline.PikaFan19x19px 16:16, 1 February 2009 (EST)
pika u so gud at teh gw RickyRicksawsmfacevantof 16:18, 1 February 2009 (EST)
I don't need to be "gud at teh gw" to know monks have to kite instead of standing on the same spot getting raped by the prage whorrior.PikaFan19x19px 16:19, 1 February 2009 (EST)
i dun get i sed u gud at gw RickyRicksawsmfacevantof 16:20, 1 February 2009 (EST)
Me/E is more about Blurred/Blind than snaring tbh, unless you're running Shackles then your only real stand snare is Shard Storm. Bsurge requires that your team kites/prekites a lot better than Me/E seeing as you have no Blurred. Cute McMonkeyTab 16:21, 1 February 2009 (EST)
I have blurred. I have steam. I use it only before they spike(our opponents has empathic and our rangers can't dshot a sig hum). I was relying on shard storm and teinais to reduce pressure on monks.PikaFan19x19px 16:25, 1 February 2009 (EST)
Moo, I wasn't criticising how you were Me/Eing tbh, was just pointing out that Bsurge is terrible anti-pressure if your team can't kite ;o Cute McMonkeyTab 16:30, 1 February 2009 (EST)
Teinai's is pretty bad anti-pressure at stand its just like an amazing split snare. You should be blurred on their ranger constantly anyway, so then he doesnt interrupt everything : > Rawrawr Dinosaur 16:32, 1 February 2009 (EST)
I suppose, but on bsurge I could spam bsurge on the prage until our monks realized they had to kite.PikaFan19x19px 16:48, 1 February 2009 (EST)
No choice, had to use teinai's to cover blurred if shard storm was in recharge. Their rangers weren't interrupting anything, anyway, but point noted.PikaFan19x19px 16:46, 1 February 2009 (EST)

Strong flaggage

As you know, on many maps the caster midliner usually takes the first flag and flags up. Then the runner takes the second flag and flags up. This is called double running/flagging.

So on this very fine day, our dear bsurge picks up the flag, waits until 1 minute 45 seconds after the opponent has flagged up before realizing she was supposed to hold down alt and double click on flagstand. At 1 minute 30 seconds our caller realized our bsurge was hovering BEHIND the backline still holding the flag, and was screaming at both the flagger, who didn't ask the bsurge to flag up; he just stood there(or he was too soft, everybody tended to not hear him everytime he spoke), and the bsurge naturally.

Now going back to 1 minute and 45 seconds, the bsurge was now near the frontlines. The bsurge suddenly tries to beeline to the flag stand, and of course our opponent notices and unloads every bit of damage, snares, hexes and knockdowns. Both the infuser and the prot wasted ~25 energy each to see the flag to the stand, and the opponent got the morale anyway.

After the match(lost, btw), we sounded out the bsurge(who was the leader of the guild) and asked her why she didn't flag up a minute earlier.

Everyone: "Why the **** did you not flag up? You had a whole minute and a half to do so."

Bsurge: "I was under diversion so I couldn't flag up."

Frost: "Yes, moving while under diversion results in moving disabled for 53 seconds."

Really some of those players were pretty baaaaaad, also, "Shock's only gonna knock you for 2 seconds ffs" ... "3..." FrostrageFrosty po! 04:26, 15 February 2009 (EST)
