Need good suggestions for violent, endlessly fun Wii games under $20-25. And I have SSBB and it's alright lost its shine, so don't suggest. Put suggestions below. --GoD Hammer and Sickle Guild of Deals 18:53, 15 November 2008 (EST)

Redsteel was kind of messed up when I played it. I'm not sure if it was just the censors, but the controller would mess up the view, and I'd be looking straight at the ground while I was being shot it. XD ــмıкεнaшк 16:50, 16 November 2008 (EST)
Redsteel is terrible. I played the multiplayer and it was awful. You basically shake your remote to stun, then randomly try to get your cursor on screen to be able to shoot their legs or something. Urgoz is the harder one, and nearly impossible with less than ten humans (nine can manage it if they're pro, and I heard of some SMS-level groups doing six or seven, but it's tough). For pugging, you definitely want twelve people. The deep is easy enough with heroes - just flag them out of the way and let them drop nukes. You should have had at least two people in that group that could bodyblock the monsters anyway.

Also, for urgoz, I dunno how you didn't manage to get him down below 90% (unless you failed to kill the monks first?), but for next time everyone should have a skill to use on him 3s cast or less (I tend to use swift javelin --> vicious), after which everyone kites in a circle around him (decide clockwise or counterclockwise before you start). EoE person stays back and makes sure EoE stays up. Worst comes to worst, you stop kiting every few seconds, drop a skill, and run like hell. It's really not that difficult so long as you have people that know what kiting is and can watch the screen for pops. Fall Back and UA (for insta-res) really help, too.

If you want to do the deep or something, I could see if we can fit you into the next ZoS group. We pretty much never fail - it's a guaranteed summoning stone and jade (and the oni is actually half decent - he lasted forever when we used him on the deep, only died to the shameful fear aspect because the monks got lazy). You have to have vent and be able to read chat while fighting, though. We once pugged a Defy Pain warrior from Adrin's guild (old guild - he's now in ZoS) and he spammed defy pain when he was supposed to die and cspaced onto the jellyfish we had to keep alive because he wasn't on vent and couldn't read party chat.

Since Skakid is still b& i guess, im posting this here.

The basis of his argument is that when he posted comments with a new user, people didnt take it seriously, like with the shatterstone ele, but when rawr changed it, people gave it a chance. Thats just common sense. Some people are better than others, you yourself admitted on your RfBM that you werent good. Therefore they'll go with the opinions of the more experienced users, like rawr, and when a "new" user makes an edit thats questionable to them, they'll stick to their own opinion cause they feel that they're more experienced than that person. So skakid's "discovery" was just common sense. Im not trying to flame ska, this just came to my mind. Discuss. -- Jebuscontests 21:08, 28 November 2008 (EST)

I knew what his "experiment" meant, but really it's quite common knowledge of the Wiki's prejudice against new users. We've known Skakid for a few years probably, we know he's good at Guild Wars and is a BM. Out of nowhere, so random person says "NOPE THIS IS BAD!" to a build in Great, and you might think it's some stumbling idiot whose like "Cripshot suxxxxxx can't kill anything and dies in 2 seconds." Not until we really had verification from a well known experienced member (Rawr) did we (or I) see that someone who I could refer to as knowledgable was right. Also, I didn't bother read the Talk page arguements because all it did was come down to large walls of text, and unless it involves me, I really don't bother. I also find it funny that someone is calling us (I) an "autist" after he got banned, twice, for being a complete and total retard as well as a little child for crying and bitching and voting on Shock Axe with the whole Mizzouman bullshit. Majora's Mask sucked. "Oh hey, every hour or so you get to completely undo everything you've done because we're doing a marketing experiment. Isn't this fun?" No. The only redeeming features of that game were the Goron, Zora, and Fierce Deity masks. They were fucking amazing, but I could never be fucked with the grind to get to the end of the game. (My 64 repeatedly freezing on the fish boss didn't help, either.) I'll grant the speedrun point though - because MM had so little that was required and so much that wasn't unless you actually wanted the cool mask.

As for the rest... OoT won faces, TP I've not played yet, and Oracle of Seasons/Ages was pretty fun even though I don't hear a lot of people talk about it ever. FFIV on DS is awesome. Armond, Japanese 4 is with Cecil and Rydia (just in case you didn't know).
